Should I be using the same rubber on both sides of the bat, or should I only consider having different rubbers when I have developed a bit?
Yeah, I know a ton of information has been presented and some of it is conflicting. I did present the simple version of the answer in my first post. But I may as well give the theory so you understand for yourself.
If you are asking the question, the answer is most likely that you should get the same rubber for both sides.
If you knew the way in which your FH and BH are different and why they need different rubbers, then different rubbers would make sense. Or, if a coach saw you and told you why/how your FH and BH need different rubbers, then that would be worth listening to.
But if you don't know what each side would need that is different, then trying to sort it out without any means to would more than likely cause more harm than good.
For now, just get the same rubber for both sides and get something simple.
