I almost never hear anybody talk about Neottec or Mizuno rubbers. But recently I have come to prefer Japanese rubbers over German rubbers.

I recently tried out the Nexy Etika, and it is really a nice feeling rubber with good control and speed. It has rubbery and bouncy feeling. Also the Hammond Z2 is really good.

I'm curious how Neottec and Mizuno rubbers are? I never hear people talk about these brands.

The Neottec X5-M has a topsheet that is not very elastic/soft compared to many ESN rubbers on the same sponge hardness. It seems to break in over time but it might just be me adjusting my strokes to it. Slower strokes don't seem to have as much spin but harder ones are fine. Might need some adjustment if playing BH with it.

TT11 carries a few Q-Series-Rubbers. These are made in Japan.
I played the Q4 (TT11) and the Q-Quality.
Except from the smell (reminds me of 2$ flip-flops) these are quite good rubbers.

The Q4 is a very spinny top end rubber. For me its in a line with Tenergy and modern ESN-Rubbers.
It lasted long but after a half playing season the grip dropped drasticly. The summers high humidity gave it the rest.
After this I imported a QQuality from Japan. EUs new tax laws makes small purchases a kind of bad deal. In total I spent about 50€ for the rubber. The carrier sent me a invoice for import-taxes and a hideous fixed service rate (more than double of the import taxes) which pushed the total to around 80€.
Japanese commertials say its the upgraded and more durable version of Q-5 (fast and spinny).
The rubber is very good. High performance. Played It about 5 months...not a single dent or mark except from my thumb. Right now its my spare setup. Its good but Fastarc G1 for me is the better deal. Good contolled offensive abilities but way less cost and headache.

I have used Q5, as stated before the smell is pretty bad. I would compare it to the smell of ash.

Q5 is a bit heavy, but I would rate it as a better tenergy 05 to be honest. My biggest concern is of its durability since for me it developed a bubble in about 6-8 weeks use. I am a very heavy hitter tho so I can do that to Chinese rubbers as well, but in this regards Tenergy is much better, I never made one bubble up.

Since the price is pretty high like Tenergy I would agree that G1 is a better deal. Still the Q series is pretty freaking nice and so easy to use.
