On the other hand, how do you like Rakza 7 2.0mm sponge? is there something you don't like about it that you want to explore other rubber?

Rakza 7 is ok. It doesn't do any one thing outstanding. I have to really work to get a spinny serve, which causes a lot of service errors. I don't hate it, just not in love with it.

Do you have a budget? Maybe you want to try one of the hybrid rubbers. Perhaps you only want to get one sheet so then you can compared the new sheet to the other side of Rakza 7.

By the way, the combination I have settled on is Gambler Blackout carbon with H3 neo on the forehand and Rakza 7 soft on the backhand. To me it is the perfect combination of speed and control. I have two other Blackout carbon with H3 neo on the forehand and MX-S and Rasanter 47 on the backhand for each of the two blades. I am not feeling it. The MX-S and Rasanter are both a bit too hard and a bit too fast. I am surprised after all the trial and error, I am going back to the good old Rakza 7 soft on my backhand side.

Another combination I am settling on is Nittaka Acoustic carbon with H3 neo on the forehand and Xiom Vega Europe on the backhand side. I chose Vega Europe because it is super soft and that carbon blade is very fast. So far that combination also works very well.

Sponge is medium soft and very easy to use, the ball doesn’t have much speed and the spin amount you can generate is very low

I can give you a brief review. My experience with CMD is that I've used it on my backhand in Purple 2.0mm basically since it came out up to this week when I've decided to try something new, so a few years. Hard disagree on the above comment that it can't produce speed or spin, that's just bonkers to me and sounds like user error. I absolutely love it. I can produce some insanely heavy rotation with it from the backhand side. I'm more known for my backhand topspin anyway, but that rubber to me is just *chef's kiss* when it comes to being able to play with heavy rotation, especially on openings. My practice partner is 2300 level, and has referred to the balls that I'm delivering off of CMD as "terrifying". That's not intended to be a self brag, but just to demonstrate that the rubber can perform to a decently high standard.

One thing that actually surprises me on CMD is how well I can counter-spin with it off the bounce. Usually softer rubbers are less ideal for those sharper counter type of balls, but CMD just ejects bullets. It's a rubber more geared to being controllable and easy to use, but I was repeatedly surprised at how much top end you can get out of it, and there's a reason I've used it for so long. Especially surprised at how stable it seems to remain when I'm really laying into the ball.

The sponge is medium-ish at 45 degrees, though I'd say the feel of it is a tick softer. It has a bit more catapult than you'd expect, but is not the type to feel uncontrollable. I can still be quite delicate with it.

The grip is amazing. I get zero issues with slippage when the rubber is fresh. The grip is superior to evolution EL-P or EL-S. I've been recently playing with some evolution rubbers to just find something cheaper since I'm playing so much and going through rubber so fast, and immediately compared to CMD I'm feeling a little bit of slippage on thinner shots or more slow topspins.

My only qualm is that at $60, it has the same general durability as most modern generation rubbers. I'm going through a sheet every 4-6 weeks with my current playing volume, and I just don't wanna pay for it anymore that frequently. But when I only played a couple times a week, it lasted quite a long time.
