I use H3 39 degree. Yes I find the Rxton 3 blue and pink to be harder than H3. It might have something to do with the top sheet. Both Rxton blue and pink, I boosted the heck out of it but still little to no catapult effect. So I gave up. Maybe their top sheets are just hard, making the rubber as a whole too dead for my liking.

The topsheet for the Rxton Blue took a few hours to break in and maybe booster on the sponge doesn't do the job.

I've never tried it before, but I think one of those massage guns would do a pretty good job of breaking in a rubber from the topsheet side.

Here comes business:

DHS H9 Violet - 38d 2.1 on BH - unboosted
- Sticky topsheet
- Dead sponge
- Very light (46gr cut)
- Medium high throw
- Flick and lift backspin easily
- Topspin is okay, the ball is very curvy (but all spin, no power)
- Terrible blocking - easy to bottom out due to unresponsive sponge
- Terrible at counter topspin - sponge does not absorb the opponent's force
- Despite that, I still beat 2 opponents of the same level in today's session because the trajectory of the ball when I flick is very low, spinny and uncomfortable. But I lost many points when blocking opponent's attacks

IMG_20230725_181316.jpg

Yinhe Moon 12 Blue - Medium hard (feels like 37d)
- Non sticky topsheet
- Very responsive sponge with good catapult
- A bit heavy (49gr cut)
- Medium throw
- Flick and lifting backspin requires a bit more wrist
- Super at blocking - topsheet is not spin sensitive and the sponge can absorb the ball well
- Good counter topsin near the table
- I beat 1 opponent of higher level with this rubber - strategy is to flick and blocking then find opportunity to finish with forehand topspin
- I find this rubber very comfortable - this will be my BH in the next months

Sad news:
- Bye bye LAC the 5th (the expensive sheet I bought from the trusted store)
- It lasts through 7th day - a new record
- Bye bye LAC, I will switch to 729 Bloom Power tomorrow

Look forward to your review of Bloom Power. I love that rubber.

So LAC, as I guessed, the "cheaper" seller is nothing different. Again, why would Loki sell a cheaper lower quality version of their brand?

How much speed and catapult is the Moon 12? Is it similar to Moon Speed? Or is it as fast as Rozena or Tenergy?

Moon 12 's speed and spin can be compare to Rozena, or Glayzer. I haven't tried Moon Speed, it looks very promising and I'll surely try it next

About the LAC, I don't really know their business, but unless they release a Blue sponge version of LAC, I won't buy the LAC again :(

Damn that is sad af, and makes me wonder if my upcoming sheets will endure longer. But we will see.

I wouldnt call the Moon Blue 12 as a rubber with catapult but i can sign with the rest of your description. Really good rubber, almost ideal for those you wish to keep the ball in the game and finish otherwise, for example with their forehand. At least up until a certain point my bh shots were too weak with it.

In Shopee or Lazada, do they sell Moon Speed 53? That's the newer updated version of MS, and apparently a big upgrade.

But if Moon 12 is comparable to Rozena, that sounds pretty good too. Some reviewers said that Moon Speed 53 is like Vega Asia.

I don't . I just pressed my pink loki R3 and it is quite soft, comparable maybe with a 37 neo
Maybe it is the top sheet? I boosted my pink Loki R3 and my blue Loki R3. They curled up pretty easily. But when I apply to the other, there is little to no catapult effect. With my old sheet of H3 neo, it has been boosted a couple times and transferred between the blades a couple times. So I am comparing both rubbers on the same blade: H3 neo boosted on the forehand side and Loki R3 pink/blue on the backhand side. And I would twiddle the blade around to compare. Yeah, the Loki R3 pink/blue just feel dead to me. H3 neo has some catapult effect (not as much as say Rakza 7 soft or C-1, ESN rubber per se, but some catapult effect). Loki R3 pink/blue has none. And maybe the top sheet of R3 is harder than the top sheet of H3 neo. Anyway, so it feels dead to me so I think overall it is harder including the top sheet? I just don't like it.

I am not too much into the exact hardness of a certain rubber's sponge. I also have a machine at home that I hit the new set up with. But I find that only if I go to a club and play a couple practice rounds and matches with a set up, could I finally give an accurate impression. Yesterday I brought the R3 pink and blue to the club. Just did not vibe well with me.

Yes this shop (which also sells the cheap LAC 🤣) has Moon Speed 53 with 26.37$ discounted. I heard that the MS53 has hard topsheet which is not my liking

For the Moon12, I got the H- version here (a bit soft for my liking, I would like to try the Hard+ version

According to the Yinhe Catalogue, #12, 53, and 58 are Yinhe's newest sponges. But I have no idea what the difference between them are.
me too, the TT companies are having a habit of confusing the customers with their rubber variations 🤣 these "newest spongeX technology" makes us EJing until we go broke..

How hard is H- in ESN? I'm guessing around 49?

From @longle earlier post, it seems he has H- the second hardest one. @Attitude did you have medium soft? M- or M+?
I had the medium soft one.

One advice from the experience: as long as you want to play it, let it stick on a blade. The moment i put it off, it curled inwards so bad it was impossible to reglue.

That is exactly why I bought a small bottle of the old-fashioned nasty speed glue.
Apply 3-4 layers and the rubber will be as flat as a pancake. This is a quick job
because the speed glue dries in a couple of minutes.
Apply then 2 coats of your normal glue and stick it on the blade.
Leave the racket at home for a week to let the speed glue effect blow off.

Bloom Power H47-2.2
- Feels very similar to Battle 2 gold - I guess they use the same sponge since they look almost the same
- Bloom's topsheet is stickier, leads to higher throw
- Great control, service and creating topspin
- I use it unboosted, some efforts are needed to generate power, I bet 1 layer of booster will bring the speed equal to LAC
- Great candidate to replace LAC if the lifespan is the same as Battle 2 (3 months)
- Looks beautiful too
