I don’t want to fall into placebo…the shots felt slower but more control…the one thing I noticed was much more spin, any side spin shot looked like a total hook and I handcuffed my opponent a few times or when the ball would hit the ground or net it was almost buzzing because of the spin that was still generated

I wanted to just “practice” but my girl wanted to play so I may have my conservative on some top spin and loop shots because I wasn’t sold on how the rubber would react…so as I get used to the feel, the speed may match what was there before
Got it. So you are using Gambler Wingwood racket with Mercury 2 (medium) for BH and Reactor Tornado V5 for FH?

I think you are off to a good start!

That is correct

Also have Sanwei cc with the same rubbers
Please let me know which set up you like better. I have a Sanwei CC, brand new, still in plastic wrapping. I have not put any rubber on it yet. I wonder how that blade plays. Thanks!

Will do but I don’t plan on using it until next year if I can help myself

I will say the Sanwei with rubber is much lighter than the wing wood with rubber
