The link actually works, it depends on what event is being broadcast at the time. It is China focused, so Sun Yingsha is on now.
You're right that this China focused. I'm watching this great Hayata/WYD match and the commentator hasn't praised anything Hayata has done. Could be the most spectacular rally or finish for Hayata and all that comes out of her mouth is disappointment. It's bizarre how biased this broadcast is.

It's pretty clear that this announcer is a bigger fan of China than of table tennis.

What an amazing match betwen Hayata and WYD. Almost as good as the one earlier this year. Quite a rivalry between these two and I wouldn't mind if they played each other every week. Think that was the best match of the tournament so far (at least that I've watched).

Hayata vs Wang Yidi are promised bangers. Its unbelievable what quality of balls Hayata needs to play to score and how consistently she did. Wang Yidi is amazing. You never have the feeling she is able to give away easy points. Especially with game points on the line.

Well played to both of them

Wang YD caught up thanks to her putting less spin on the serve which made Hayata short touches bounce higher and allow her to open up first
not sure what i saw, but I felt that in the latest part of the match, HAYATA managed to keep the ball really short against no-spin / topspin short /half long serves, pulling WYD at the table and on the next ball WYD had to retreat giving an opportunity to Hayata to either score or take the first the initiative in a point.
Many times however, the rallies went long, and even after getting the first attack and attacking 2/3 times, Hayata was forced to a more neutral shot and then had to become the more passive one.

The score was very tight, and probably there's a lot of other things going on but thats what caught my attention.

First Non-Chinese women's singles finalist at the Asian Games since Chire Koyama in 1994? That's nearly 3 decades ago. Fukuhara came close in 2010 but didn't have the grit to close out Guo Yue. Can Hayata lay claim to the Japan No.1 title now? Japanese media has already given her the 'Ace' title.

Yes, due to Wang changed her spin so she can attack with her backhand first, she aimed at Hina's wide forehand, stretching Hina out to gain an advantage

She deserved it for sure, Hirano's resume is still better but recent performance has shown Hina is more worthy of that title

We had high hopes for Hirano after her open victory against SYS but she disappointed with that embarrassing defeat to the unknown PRK player.

she wasn't brilliant at the Asian champs either.

in less than a year time, i think Miwa HARIMOTO will become the boss anyway.

Wang Yidi's predictability is her undoing. I was literally expecting something different, like just alternate your receives to different parts of the table, it's like she and Sun Yingsha don't know much about receives or don't come up with different receives in mind, and they'll rather just win the match in the rallies. Well the opponent is on the same level in the rallies🤷‍♂️ , so whoever brings more variety in the serve and receive is most likely to win.

Hina started using that half long serve to Yidi's backhand/ middle a lot in the fourth set onwards. The chiquita to her middle was the receive that kept coming back, like the forehand was literally begging for the cross court chiquita!! It's literally easy, that's the most comfortable place for a chiquita too. I've seen WCQ flip that mercilessly one or twice against righties, and they stopped serving to his backhand with immediate effect. I'm curious to see what Wang Manyu can do since the chiquita is her bread and better. I don't know how Ma Lin can't see this, You're basically allowing Hayata impose her game whilst you hang on in balance hoping that you can somehow survive in the rallies, makes no sense.
Wang Yidi never looked like she had a clear gameplan.

No doubt about it. First Asian Games MS medal since Li Ching's bronze at Doha 2006. Second MS medal in history as well. Beating M. Yoshimura and LYJ in one go is quite a feat.

Sorry to LYJ but better luck next time.

It's now confirmed Ito is what has been holding back Hayata.

Hayata should thank Kihara for taking out Ito, then Hirano for taking out Kihara, then Harimoto and Nagasaki for replacing Ito and Sato. Hirano got the ball rolling in the WT F to put the pressure on China and Kihara/Harimoto dialed it up in the WD QF. The other teams also played a part in squishing a distracted China.

Fun fact:
Since WYD is WR4 (week 38 or 39), Hayata (15) is still behind Hirano (10+15 = 25) in terms of CNT's top 3 points.
