For some reason I read this and automatically think: this really sounds like generic answer from ChatGPT...no offense :)
I played with H3 37 boosted on Viscaria and did well in all aspects, but hassle of boosting BH rubber is just too much for me.
From sig, I noted that you are playing h8-80 on BH as I heard this one not require boosting compare to H3N 37 deg to play out of the box. Am I right?

I am also curious, but can't find any reviews or comparison of DHS 301, 301X, 301T, 301Z version.
https://ttgearlab.com/
Ep and Ec with ratio Ec/Ep, Vp and Vl with ratio (Vl/Vp):
301 (89.6g)1.88/1.64 (ratio 0.87)1.20/1.29 (ratio 1.07)
301X (89.9g)1.98/1.86 (ratio 0.94)1.28/1.27 (ratio 0.99)
301T (90.7g)2.05/1.87 (ratio 0.91)1.28/1.23 (ratio 0.96)
301Z (88.2g)1.64/1.36 (ratio 0.83)1.11/1.24 (ratio 1.12)
InnerForce ALC1.62/1.45 (ratio 0.89)1.15/1.23 (ratio 1.07)
Long 51.64/1.24 (ratio 0.75)1.06/1.27 (ratio 1.20)
Long 5X1.83/1.52 (ratio 0.83)1.18/1.35 (ratio 1.14)
Viscaria/FZD2.02/1.92 (ratio 0.95)1.32/1.35 (ratio 1.02)

Depend on the indices, you can relate to some popular blade:
301 might similar to Long 5X
301X and 301T might similar to Viscaria/FZD
301Z might similar to InnerForce ALC or Long 5

The indice i can clearly feel is the Vp, the vibration at the palm or handle, from 1.00 it is high, 1.10 is medium, 1.20 is a bit or very little, at 1.30 there is no vibration at all, the blades i used is Korbel -> 301Z -> Fang Bo 2X -> FZD

Had my first local league with my new set up (commercial DHS NEO 3 black 39d) on my forehand (dignics 09c on backhand). It was a ton of fun. I hit some crazy killer loops with the forehand. multiple people in my group said they actually feared my forehand and were doing everything they could to avoid it.

This rubber really does feel great on the viscaria.

Correct. It has softer, porous sponge and can be played without boosting, but it still requires some break-in period. It can be boosted with Seamoon and this is where this rubber shines.

Overall, H3 37 is better though. With h8-80 it feels like there's not enough pressure on the opponent, the ball is just not that deadly. I would say h8-80 is a decent rubber for BH.

Cho Seungmin plays with H8-80 quite successfully. Probably boosted.

My personal rating of BH rubbers for shakehand:

Boosted H3 37 prov. OS - 9/10
Nittaku G-1 - 8/10
H8-80 37 boosted with Seamoon - 7/10
H8-80 37 unboosted - 6.5/10

I feel like BTY Tenergy 05/09c played for 1 week is also 9/10, but then t05 just loses its qualities and slowly becomes 6/10 (because it's just so bouncy), while 09c stays at 9/10 for several months. It's just too expensive for me to justify the playing characteristics, especially since now I've switched to penhold and play BH much less.

edit: forgot Nittaku C-1, it's 7.5/10. Very good for executing all types of shots, but maybe lacks spin a little bit.

So you need to put DHS 37 degree on say FDZ super ALC or Super Viscaria ALC instead? Like even harder?

I should’ve said this first. The H3 37 I used is the special soft provincial version which costs $40USD. High quality and more clarity than the usual provincial.

For some strange reason, FZD ALC gives me a softer feel on BH vs my new W968.

In terms of hardness:
New 968> FZD alc > old 968

I think you are right, super alc might work with H3 37

for those that love the old tacky as hell H3, I found a channel for it.

I bought a few commercial H3 from ttnpp. The topsheet js very shiny. After a few hours of play, the ball can stay on the sheet for more than 3 seconds.

I bought some provincial H3 from them and will let you know if they are the old stock.

Get them while they last! Save them in sealed packages and re-sell them to CNT for $500 a sheet in 2030

I put a h3 n 37 on vis salc before, kinda good , but change it to something else after 2 boosted , I don't have a spare sheet. If you love Spinny open game by BH, good rubber, if you flat hitter, something else might better than this h3 37.

How many layers of booster for h3 37 deg? I got a neo provincial 37 degree coming.

I waited 3 days on my boosted H3 41 and retested today, it just feels a bit dead and slow for me. Its fine in a game, but during looping warm up it feels slow to me. The reality is in a game you usually never get too many chances to unleash topend power.

But all in all, H3 just doesnt feel as dynamic and fun to use compared to GTX or Bloom Power or LAC

Is your H3 the new non-tacky or the old tacky one? Is it commercial or provincial?

Mine is 41d commercial. I have provincial blue sponge as well, but it's also not very fast.

Mine is the new non-tacky one. Maybe tomorrow I will try it on a different blade to get more power.

Interesting. I just played my second round robin with an unboosted hurricane 3 neo 39 degree. I was getting some killer loops again. Against the players who played fast in my group I played really well. I was counter looping a lot of their shots easily. However, I lost to the hard bar player in my group who I usually beat. I was missing a lot of pop up shots he was giving me. Shots I used to kill easily with tenergy 5. It’s becusde im still second guessing the racket angle on these slow lobs. But when I have good form and stroke through… the shots are unbelievable. I was also blocking a lot of shots into the net with the dignics 09c on my backhand. I still like the added control tho vs the tenergy 19.

I think 41 degree is too hard. I am used to 39 degree and it plays well. I have 40 degree that I felt a little bit dead. someone wanted it and I just gave it to him. Back to 39 degree.....

Welcome to the dark side, again.

Hurricane is a looping magic. Nothing beats it.

However, smashing is just a problem. That's why Chinese players almost always turn their racket to the Butterfly/ESN side to smash high balls/lobs. Hurricane just sucks at smashing. You almost have to loop drive the ball, despite it being so high.
