Trying out the 729 Dragon F on my forehand of my Sanwei Froster blade.
Feels a lot like a boosted H3 Neo but I haven't used an H3 Neo in ages so I can't even remember what it feels like.
Has the punch and kick of an h3 neo that I remember but you don't need to boost this. Will continue to update this thread as I use this and will buy an H3 neo to compare.

The name and the logo on the topsheet are extremely cool, but I recall hearing that it plays like a slower and less dynamic version of Battle 2. Maybe you can compare it to B2 as well or instead?
I last used Battle 2 Provincial Blue Sponge maybe 4 years ago now, so I don't think I remember it well enough.

Is it the Hard or Medium-Hard version you got? It sounds promising. I haven't had the chance to try it yet :)
I don't think there's Hard version, as far as I know it's medium soft and medium hard but my memory may be wrong.
I got medium hard, in dhs scale it feels like 39 I think.

Yeah. I have ordered some Dragon F & L and I know that the the Dragon L comes in Soft and Medium Soft versions. The Dragon F comes in Medium Hard and Hard, but I haven't got any of them yet. They seem interesting though :)

I got the Dragon L Med Soft. I haven't tested it yet. It's supposed to be non tacky, but this rubber have a protective sheet on it. When i peeled it it have a slightly tacky top sheet. It can lift the ball from the table. The bounce is also reduced, like a hybrid rubber would do.

Sponge seem to be near 47 degree ESN, an interesting rubber for the BH. I will test it later in the summer, on my spare blade.

I tested this rubber today unboosted. It's actually a lot better than I thought. It's pretty similar to H8-80.

It's got lowish-medium rebound, not as slow as I thought. The grip and tack is quite high. Flicks and loops were quite easy and spinny.

I think I will like it even better boosted.

What booster will you use?

I've been testing out the Dragon F after booster, actually this is really really good rubber for the backhand.

It's very tacky and grippy, so your loops, banana flicks, and spin shots all feel excellent.

I boosted it with seamoon, and it is fast. For speed, there is no disadvantage compared to ESN tensor rubbers.

Previously I was testing out H3 37 on bh, which I really liked. Dragon F is very similar in feeling and performance. You have excellent speed, spin, and control/feeling.

Has anybody else tested it? Where is the love for this rubber. I really think this is a hidden gem for the bh

I still like the Dragon F but the harder ones were too hard for my backhand and the softer ones too soft and they were heavier than my H3 37. Maybe with the right booster I could get the hardness right 1) but an open question at least for me is quality control 2): I simply don't know how much sponge hardness varies 3)

1) that's the great thing with H3s: one can just choose the right sponge hardness.
2) that's the other great thing with H3s: one can just choose different quality levels.
3) that's why I've stopped using H8-80: the first ones were around 37° and quite heavy (50g+ cut) but I've also had ones with maybe 35° and just 44g cut.
