I think it is easy to underestimate Hina's rallying ability when you focus on her scores against CNT and forget about just how hard it is for her to miss when she is on fire.
And she clearly stepped up in the last game to finish it 4-0. At the moment I think Miwa's playing is still too conventional if that makes sense.

It makes sense, more so given her age. You can't learn all the skills in TT at once, you need to get good at how you win points first, and then close the gaps with experience and training. So she will close the gaps with experience and age.

Contrast that with someone like Togami who at 22 going on 23 with all that athleticism is still playing at only one speed. That said, he might have done Harimoto a favor of sorts by not letting Harimoto play Lebrun in that form.

Well, Alexis completely outplayed Togami, he only let the 4th game slipped because of a service error. Everything else was perfect especially rallying and lobbing. Togami's forehand has been unstable throughout this tournament, monotonous receiving pattern, high error-rate backhand flick, basically he has nothing to fight

with 2 of the 4 QF going all 5 games
and 2 of the 2 SF going all 5 games.
I actually feel, we need more best of 7s

I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but in Taiwan, best of 5s is for kids
international is best out of 7
and when you grow up, you eventually step into the BO7 space and that is the test of true character.

Obviously WTT agrees to a certain extent on when to implement BO7, but it is just so inconsistent from its different tournaments and you have kiddies stuff into SF.... feels like a domestic competition.

Other than camera angles, BO7 needs to return from the finals (Final, Semi Final, Quarter Final) imo
Its so little table tennis on those final days, so i'm sure there is enough time to fit in an extra 2 games per match in that final days
