Kind of looks like Nicole Struse. Don't remember her doing high toss serves though. And there's no way that was taken in 1983, that Butterfly logo wasn't in use until early 90s

I always laugh when I see tosses like that. It doesn't do any more than a toss of 3-4 feet. A TT ball has a pretty low terminal velocity. Since it's so light it can only fall so fast. Never did any scientific study but you can observe it doesn't go any faster after a certain height.

I use high toss serves sometimes. It just helps mess up the timing of the opponent. It is like I have 100% problem with no toss illegal serves; those serves always mess up my timing. Oh well...
