boosting Big Dipper2 and Bloom speed

just want to experiment with two layers of boosting.
Today the second layer

Don't over booost the rubbers. Sometimes the booster oil leaks back from the sponge and ruins the glue layers, rendering the bat unplayable. Don't ask me how I know it, lol.

It’s a pain to glue when it’s curved like that. But the more curve at gluing time the more tension and we all know tension = catapult…

Let the rubbers flattern before gluing is like going in the opposite direction of boosting. Usually I glue my boosted rubbers after around 8 hours of last oil application, when they're still heavily domed, just like in this video

Not much when it's like on the 2nd picture with hill like dome. Interesting that I never had such tube like dome as on the 1st pic after 2 layers, I put as least booster as possible though.
It was enough to turn H8 into a cannon.

P. S. Does Igor complain about treated long pimples as well? Like putting them into a microwave, drying on Sun, etc?

Still the edges will pop up, I just hate that. You need to put the glue under pressure…

it looks so easy.. three weeks of filming and editing 🙃
but soooo domed and it just sticks to the borders 🫡

so actually you want some curve in the rubber ... well, there was a little bit curve left ( 😒 )

The Bloom Speed wasn't curved at all but it was a lot softer
The Big Dipper still had a tiny bit of curve. it's now in the press.
we'll see tomorrow after the glue dried in the press.
