Despite I had that rubber in 2014 and 10 years later there are so many more alternatives, I would still rate the Vega China a pretty good rubber at its time.
That time, hybrid was unfashionable as compared with today.
The durability was great, I had it as a feeding bat for probably over a year.

Ha, well, Yogi's review from 2018 (https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/xiom-vega-china-vm-review.17935/) was also pretty accurate...
Some years ago I had the Vega China in max. on my 97g Harimoto ALC plus Genesis M on my bh. That set-up was something like 207 or 209g. Too much for my wrist eventually, but I got a really good impression from the Vega China. For an older gen ESN rubber durability was indeed very solid, and that "metallic" clicking sound you get from it is almost addictive. It's one of the rubbers that was ahead of it's time and unfortunately it is still flying under the radar.
Given that it is one of them ultra heavy rubbers more shops should carry the 2mm version and allow the player to reduce the overall weight of the racket. I only know of one single shop that has it in 2mm. I guess I will have to get me some sheets again, before Xiom will discontinue it...
You know who should try the Vega China (preferably boosted)?
