no competition at all ? WTTC ? OG ? Asian champs ?impossible, due to IOC/ITTF rules on change of nationality
4.5 OLYMPIC COMPETITIONSno competition at all ? WTTC ? OG ? Asian champs ?
As explained in the post, Macau is not an IOC member and so she will never be eligible. But Macau is a member of the Olympic Council of Asia, so she is eligible for Asian Games and everything else other than Olympic Games after the waiting period.she wants to play international competitions again ? LA2028 ? or 2032?

I do have a feeling, it isn't about olympics games for her.its still time to change her mind and take a Qatari passport like LI Ping
I don't think it's about income. She's very bright and has been very successful post-TT.I do have a feeling, it isn't about olympics games for her.
maybe there is still a love in the sport
but I think making an income is probably first priority and with this route, she can still play WTT and make a good living if her costs and salary is covered by her new country.
She is still young, but at her age, a couple of women players just retired from the CNT his year that are younger than her. I was chatting to one of them to see if they keen on league in Europe (haha, I also just spoken to a Korean national coach an hour ago too). But for the CNT player, I think they had enough TT for now, and maybe in the future, they could pursue TT or something else.
The rules were different then. Olympics didn't have a waiting period.its still time to change her mind and take a Qatari passport like LI Ping

Thanks! Unfortunately, it appears like viewers in the US aren't allowed to watch this tournament (see attached picture: "The uploader has not made this video available in your country."). That's also why these videos were not visible to me. Not sure why WTT would do that as I'm not aware of any TV stations buying the rights here.... Anyway, I guess I'll have to fire up my VPN and pretend to be in Europe.
It's probably on espn3.com since if is a champions event. But I am like you and just use the VPN since there is no systematic discipline around communicating where to find it to US viewers. Thanks!
