And what is the verdict on how it plays?
It's pretty fun, and good for lifting underspin. However it really needs booster if you use it on bh.

It gives you a bit better grab on the ball than tension rubbers, but it is slower and doesn't have that catapult feeling.

Good xD
Great rubber to grow into. If you cant use the necessary kinetic chain of your body, the rubber will let you notice you lack technique to perform certain shots. Especially looping from behind the table or lifting backspin.
Bad rubber if you are flicking your wrist around and hope for an outstanding attack. It will lack quality and speed if you dont put some effort into your shots.

Other advantages would be control close to the table. Especially blocking and light counterattacks feel really good and for me easier to understand if they fail.
So currently my go to setup.

Has anyone actually used/tried it?
I’m going to try the 38 degree version on the BH of my new Hurricane king acB blade. Look out for my review thread coming soon

With.
Without it you lack the slight kick that it is capable of. Making plays over the table would be really hard to execute. Dont forget that even the 37 hardness is still quite hard.

If anybody knows, I'd be interested to know the weight (cut) of H3 neo 37 and H3 38.

After boosting it weighs about the same as D09c. Very similar in hardness as well when measured on durometer, just slightly harder. Keep in mind though that I can only measure its hardness with both the sponge and topsheet, not just the sponge by itself.

I’ve had two sheets of H3N 37 commercial on a smallish blade (Sanwei v5 pro). Normal blade adds about 1 gram per rubber. Mine were 45 and 47 g. Not boosted but including glue.

The 45 g sheet was 79 g with complete packaging. Might come in handy if you have the option to choose in a store or ask seller before buying 😄.

Stay loose!
