There's already R9 with blue sponge that happens to be up there quality wise, and now LAC with blue sponge. It's hard to keep up with Loki line of products; they have similar products everywhere. They really know how to take advantage of EJ virus, should change their name to Umbrella Corp.
where did you find the blue sponge version for sale

Today before training I removed the plastic protection and tested if I could lift a ball with it. I could. after 90 minutes of training and me not using my cleaner I could sense and feel a greasy film on it. As if it was dust and jelly in a very thin layer. Breathing on it and then wiping it with my hand did not help much, but I could indeed lift a ball with it. I guess I am just picky about that film that builds after some use.

Today my spinsight balls arrived, so I will see how this stickiness compares to Rakza Z stickiness in spin values when serving and looping

Siiiitttt, I got fooled. Still, considering just their MO so far, it's possible for them to make a bs LAC.
Never thought Loki would get so popular so soon where people are creating fanfiction about it lol
I think i confused some of you, maybe my comment was lost in translation. I was just being funny. But Blue sponge LAC seems real i found it on Taobao, i didnt make it up.
That link i shared is from the store, i can try to translate the text to see description and characteristics. Seems 39° hardness

i had the opportunity to test my esn spinsight systems on serves and made a few observations that were unexpected. Note that this is of course very personal and limited by my technique.

when doing backspin serves it was not the very slow ones that had the most spin. So the shot backspin serves that bounced two or three times were not the ones i would create the most backspin with.

switching between blades when trying side/underspin serves i got similar results for PK50 on W968 like with LAC. What then was totally unexpected (but rationally explainable) is a bump of spin created, when switching from W968 with LAC to Nittaku Acoustic with LAC. It was quite a difference, so if the general spin was about 40-50 rotations per second on the W968, i managed over 50 with the Acoustic, even topping at 57 rotations per seconds.
I guess the w968 does indeed "spit out" the ball quite earler before i can make full use of the friction, while the Acoustic will enable a more spinny shot. Changing the Rakza Z instead of the LAC on the Acoustic did not yield better results.

Reading this thread for a bit made me interested in LAC.

What's the weight, durability and quality control like?

(This has probably been answered before, but I can't read all the 100+ pages)

Mine had 71g uncut. That thing is not a lightweight rubber.

Btw you dont have to read all the pages, just make use of the search function...

My two sheets of LAC cut to a standard sized blade weighed 51 and 52 grams.

Durability was decent lasting over 60 hours of training/play. This is tracked with my fitness ring that only tells me when I'm moving. Also if I'm just doing backhand practice and not using the FH rubber at all, I won't count that towards time played with the rubber.

QC is mixed with some people experiencing bubbling after a few weeks, others have had better luck. The bubbling seems to be more prevalent with the original run of sheets with the orange packaging. You may have more luck if you get the green or "pro" labelled packaging.
