In Kanaks latest vlog he beat Dang Qui 3-0 so can't have dipped that much.
Ok, I haven't kept up to speed on results there tbh.
Nothing to do but say well done to Walther then. Looking forward to watching it later!

you still haven't answered me, what is the average age of MLTT?
FWIW, other than the Princeton Revolution, each team of 8 players has 3 players less than 30 (mostly way less as a number of them are teenagers). The website doesn't have individual profiles and I don't think I want to research everyone's age, but I think the average age might be quite a bit lower than you might think. But is Liam at 31 yrs. old really that old? Ma Long won the Tokyo Olympics at 32 yrs old. Many of these above 30 players bring name recognition to the league (Pitchford, Lebesson, Olah, etc) in addition to their talents. Ma Long, Xu Xin, Chen Meng ... if you're out there listening, don't listen to all the negative talk about age. We'll take you in! I know you all want to take on the challenge and fun of the Golden Game!

Proud of Sally for putting up a good fight! She's got a bright future ahead of her. Her game is so solid that I think she will end up with a better career than both Amy and Lily if she decides to continue in table tennis.

I honestly don't know. You call the league old so zi am sure you have all the data. You are also supplying them with younger players so you have no interest in pushing the age of the league as a marketing problem since it is not just a fact but a huge league problem.

Doo looking like she was the one who retired for the past couple of years... or is ZYL just living up to her moniker of civil queen? :p
Poor Doo, losing to a player past her prime is really sad, I feel for her, it is a sign she is also past hers.

One thing that I am curious of MLTT is whether it can be sustainable. It seems that it does not make money (or lose a lot of money?). It does not show the financial condition, but I assume it is losing money from the way it operates so far.

Two separate players forums during SG Smash - one for CNT and another for rest of the world. LGL seems he is only wearing the CTTA President hat this time ;)

Flint the commissioner is a multimillionaire who made quite a bit of money in software. If anyone can do it, it is him, let's see how it goes.

Lol that was a really difficult saying I had to google.

I actually think ZYL got a reasonable first round draw. DHK's play style is not unfamiliar (?) and probably not the most threatening to her (compared to young powerful types or pips attacker I imagine).

OTOH, I know this is SG Smash hence there is a tendency to put local players at the Infinity Arena but... this is a massacre. Let's just go by merit yeah.

We'll get to see more of Winter playing in doubles, although drawing Odo/Yokoi in R16 means they'll need a big upset to go further. Pairing with Liu Yangzi isn't a bad idea though since she's used to pairing with her long pip twiddler compatriot Jee Minhyung.

Tough opening match for 11th seed, CIC. She loses 3-2 to Lee Eunhye, a solid player who has had some good wins including over Miu HIrano at the Asian Champs and Annett Kaufmann who had just beaten Miwa 3-0 at the Olympics.
Lee should replace Shin who is literally useless now that doubles partner Jeon is going to retire soon (?). In fact she is a even better player....
