Emotions, frustration, weird battle cries at a tournament in Irkutsk

We had another tournament in December 2012 held in memory of Honoured couch of Russia - Igor Zusman and passion was running hot as usual. The headlines in the video are emotions, frustration, laughter, unrepeatable battle cries and of course best moments.:D

Watched the whole video!
POWER of RUSSIA indeed! Some real interesting player to watch too..

In which division/league does these players play?
Thank you so much for sharing.. I will download the video into my archive..
You are welcome, thank you for watching. You know they do not really play in any of the leagues or divisions and it is all about financing and some other problems. When they got their sports degrees (a number of the players in the video are either masters of sports or candidates for this degree) and graduated from their universities or high schools it becomes more like a hobby to play TT in local or regional tournaments. Some of them tried to continue their careers but it should be better done in the European part of Russia, where there are many Russian TT Federation-rated tournaments, so you can get rating their, keep practicing. But there is little support from local tt federations and players themselves cannot afford that. Russia is huge and the nearest tournament for example now is over 1500 kilometers away from Irkutsk. That's why they do not take part in any leagues although they are quite skillful and by the way many of them still represent our region in Championships of for example Siberia. Some of them go to RTTF-rated tournaments so they have rating. That lefty aged penholder is in the top 10 Russian veteran players, there is a 14-year old lefty player who is also in the top 10 Russian juniors. We used to have a women's TT club "Baikal" which was 3 time Russian Champion. By the way the leader player of this club was Alla Potapova who was once the European Junior Champion. The club stopped existing due to financial reasons. So this is the situation hope it will get better but TT is not as popular as football or hockey or else in Russia but there still quite a number of people who love it and they are in the video

The only thing that drives the players in Irkutsk thus far is passion and pure passion indeed..
Amazing dedication :)

Thanks again for sharing, Sir.. Greetings from fellow table tennis players from Indonesia..
Yes, you're right we may put it like this: passion, love and dedication to TT are the main drivers. I am glad you liked the video. Our greetings to you and TT community of Indonesia:D
