What is the best table tennis ball for matches?

I use R40 plus butterfly, but I'm open to try new ones. Which ones are the best for matches?

For me personally the tibhar SYNT NG are the best. The ones in the golden package.

I tried R40 and are pretty good but i found that nittaku 3 star premium are just a bit better feeling, or it may just be my mind. (butterfly's R40 did last longer in my experience)

It is a matter of personal preference, and with plastic balls more than ever a matter of the correlation between ball and table. So if you´re happy with the R40 where you play there might not be a "better" ball for you.

The DHS one is very uncharacteristic, in a good way. It just works well.
Butterfly has a weird bounce different from all other balls, but once you are used to it it's fine.

DHS DJ40+ is certainly a world's recognized STANDARD BALL.
ITTF adopted this ball as the only test specie for laboratory testing works. We do think the same.

The official ball of the tournament or league? Stiga Perform *** is popular in Sweden. Butterfly not so much.

(Doube Fish PAR40+, GEWO ULTRA SLP, Nittaku Premium are also good)

Double fish Tokyo balls feel the best by far in my opinion. Followed by the Geno 3 star select balls. Joola prime kind of lacks rotation and is fast and linear. R40+ also isn’t bad

I think it is, the problem is the ball snobs. That said, the ball I practice the most with now is the Butterfly ball, because I believe it is the hardest to adjust to if you play with other balls.

DHS DJ40+ WTT is good. DF Par 40+ is also good. I think DF is better because it's more consistent than DHS one. Joola is also okay. I don't like Stiga Perform and Donic.

I have played a lot with these balls recently Gozo, a friend bought 18 of them at the Frankfurt Smash in November. they were selling off the leftover Olympic Boxes on some deal (half price if you bought 12 or more I think...)

Anyway they're great. As long as you're happy with the price Id say go for it

My favorite at the DHS DJ40+ WTT balls. Usually about $1 a ball if you buy from AliExpress. Last a really long time because they dont get smooth like nittaku balls.
