REVISION OF FRICTION LIMITS ON ANTISPIN RUBBERS IS NOW UNDERWAY.

ABS 3 frictionless is going to be forbidden soon. It is now getting an unanimous recognition within ITTF that too much randomness of the ball bounce shall eventually ruin the game . Again, too much randomness threatens to entirely change character of the sport, something like FunFair lottery a game of chance.

China is now working to persuade ittf into revision of the existing rubber limitations, that is reducing a minimum of Antie's friction to 0.30

At this level, the only way Jorgic could be losing is if he was not being serious or is trying out unsuccessful strategies. Notice how many serves from Mladenovic from his inverted side Jorgic is outright missing. In normal circumstances that should not be happening as it's not even the antispin being used. It's like Jorgic is not even paying attention. I would not be surprised if Jorgic is purposefully throwing the match in some backroom deal or the match is a throwaway one and he's trying to save energy.

This. Dortmund's Li destroyed him last week in their league match.
Li is old partner of Mladenovic when they were in Mainz, my guess is he is aware of how it works because they trained together. And Mladenovic is a really kind guy so there is little to no doubts he gave him the secret of glanti.

Nevertheless, it's like that, some pros are super good against attacking player and then loose to less "meta" playstyle unranked player (for example Calderano having big big trouble against defenders...)

Darko was playing on 3rd. Maybe he was tired or injured, or he was just preventing injury by not playing on the highest level.

After writing the statement above I checked some more rallies from the match and he later indeed looked tired and frustrated. Same as me this weekend against materialists. Though I am nowhere as quality-wise as Darko, and my performance might be just because of lack of skill and not lack of energy, Darko indeed looked like having no energy.

+also playing against style that rarer than long pimples

Jorgic lately has been throwing a lot of match in Bundesliga, if you look at his records it's his worst season by far. I won't be surprised if he leaves the club next season or if he is loosing purposely because of a shady agreement. And surprinsingly he is performing well in WTT or other big events like Top16

Forgive me, but this is a typical textbook example of how someone who is totally not technically proficient on his BH can still win a match thanks to equipment. His FH did improve I notice.

Jorgic is known to be losing against defensive-style players. His 0-3 loss against Wang Yang was a humiliation, and I think it's due to his backhand-oriented style, while all the prime forehand-oriented players destroy defenders with little effort.

On the other hand, Luka has improved his attacking from forehand side. He used to have one of the slowest and least powerful forehand attacks, but now it looks like he gained some power.

I can see Jorgic having some lower back discomfort, maybe this affected his performance ...

on the other hand - playing against anti, long or short pips, there is only one unwritten rule - do not complicate. as soon as you add strange rotations on the ball it is just to add power to the opponent. basically - try playing with "straight" rotation only. or no rotation at all. which is easier to say than do, but yes.

no comment on Winter vs. Polcanova, this is unnatural and I agree with ITTF on this department. balls are not normal, she just blocks the ball and some strange rotation is added to the ball ...

Lol jorgic's serves all had way too much sidespin which enabled Luka to make too much weird af balls. Strange that he didn't just do flat (ie pure underspin/no spin) serves and receives. His game is way too reliant on that heavy sidetopspin serve which basically is the juiciest serve for an anti player to receive.

yes but he is technically proficient with his glanti on bh. Maybe if he had two backsides he would have a better backhand because no time to spend training with the glanti
