Is the hurricane 3 neo still worth it after tack reduction?

It has become a good BH rubber with less tack.

Let's say you buy a provincial H3 38 to 40 degree for $28USD (Prott). Boost it with a few layers of seamoon.

Trust me it will beat most BH rubbers under $50USD.

For FH I still use the old tacky H3 BS.

I recently opened a H3 provincial BS (non-neo) which I bought on Aliexpress over a year ago. I boosted with two layers of Kailin and it's still very tacky. It can hold the ball upside down indefinitely when I just removed the plastic film, but not clear why anyone would want this level of stickiness (or more) when playing an actual game?

Well with that level of tack you can produce more variety of placements and spins.

as the tack has reduced, the amount of users of H3 is growing every year.
there is no replacement, no brand is even close for the elite players.

so if so many semi-pros to pros are coming on board, I am sure it will be fine for you
if not, then it isn't the rubber :p

Im have two questions about H3.
First if I want to just try it should I go with standard orange neo for a couple of bucks, or save for a provincial blue?
Secondly can they be played without booster, if I choose a softer sponge?

I would like to try H3 for my FH, but I always read that everyone boosts it and I am too lazy and too much of a cheapskate for that :D

you are like asking, I'm going to buy a Telsa, but I have no time to wait for it to charge up.

if you not going to boost, then buy something else.

Reduced tack H3, and Dignics 09c, everything is converging on slightly tacky hard sponges for offensive high level players
