Idk if I'd even call it wasting a chance, he's just not very good. He actually performed better than I expected, I thought Kallberg was gonna walk all over him. He has a big FH but that's dime a dozen. His BH is weak, his service/receive game is just so-so, and there isn't much variation to his game. His equipment choice is also very weird. He played a control game on the BH side, relying on defense and pace changes, and relies on his big FH to get points, yet he uses Viscaria instead of a 968 variant.

It was a very tough test for CYY but I think he performed great and tested him. I agree that the BH made the difference, but I believe he’s got so much potential with an already developed FH, he just needs to practice that BH mode and then he’ll be a dangerous player. I already think that CYY is better than ZQH and he is close to XP, HYZ, and WRB, tho I’d argue CYY better alr but I really rate WRB as one to watch for the future

Togami was promising at the start of the Paris 2024 cycle. Uda as well. Both of them are great at MD. But then Togami's lack of TT quotient slowly became more noticeable. I first noticed it when he lost to Jorgic at Singapore Smash 2022 after leading 2-1 in games to blow the 7:3 lead in G4. From then on he started losing to European players in similar fashions and he never fixed it...

He is very good, and the WTT ranking and the number of titles he has backs up my statement. Anton is way ahead of him in his career counting age and years as pro, but has only managed a couple of more titles. By the way, Anton is also very good and today had some margins on his side.

The umpire messed up the score. It should have been 3-1 in favor of WMY, but he stated and entered the score as 2-2.

Probably inner. The wooden layer(s) on top of the dark carbon layer seems to be too thick to be just one layer. My guess is that it's a 968 structure blade, but not sure if it will play more like the W or the Q.
