Yes, a while ago. At this point , CDS TMX, AJH TMXi, Icecream blades, 36.5 alx(i) series and hugo HAL / SAL are all discontinued.Did CDS leave Xiom too? He does not use his signature blade anymore.
Ahh I see. I feel like CDS got better results with Xiom than with his DHS setup. Hopefully he recovers quick from whatever injury he has currentlyYes, a while ago. At this point , CDS TMX, AJH TMXi, Icecream blades, 36.5 alx(i) series and hugo HAL / SAL are all discontinued.
Did he actually ever use the CDS blade? Cuz as far as I remember he is playing with w968 now , just like An Jaehyun. And W968 is really different to CDS TMXAhh I see. He played with his blade for a year starting in 2023 after that Bangkok win. But it could very well just have been a W968 with its handle.Did he actually ever use the CDS blade? Cuz as far as I remember he is playing with w968 now , just like An Jaehyun. And W968 is really different to CDS TMX
Maybe he had a W968 with CDS handle before but who knows
Both Hugo blades and the LSS blade will be available in several table tennis shops in germany starting from next week
Can you name the shops? I'm super keen to see these on sale in Europe and to find somewhere that will ship to UK.Both Hugo blades and the LSS blade will be available in several table tennis shops in germany starting from next week
I dont think Hugo TMXi will be like AJH TMXi Pro. AJH TMXi Pro was created to replicate w968, with a thinner core and thicker middle ply. It is also supposed to be heavy (around 90g)I'm keen to find out if the new calderano TMXi pro is indeed just a smaller sized AJH TMXi pro. One thing that looks to have been improved is the weight. Definitely in the right direction with heavier hybrid rubbers.
Did you find an 88gm TMXi pro with same frequency?

In a previous message, you had stated that regular AJH TMXi feels like Harimoto ALC, while AJH TMXi Pro feel like W968 and that in general have a totally different feeling.Regular AJH TMXi is lighter (around 88g) and has a thicker core, and it is stiffer than pro version. You can also find light models of regular TMXi, like 83 or 84g.
I played 3 different ajh pro and one w968. I never tried regular tmxi. but I tried several harimoto alcIn a previous message, you had stated that regular AJH TMXi feels like Harimoto ALC, while AJH TMXi Pro feel like W968 and that in general have a totally different feeling.
I see that you've playing with the Pro version. Have you actually tried the regular AJH TMXi with the same rubbers as in the Pro?
I ordered the Hugo ALX now. I asked them for 88g, they told me they can send me a 87g piece.
Will have it by the end of the week probably. The price was good, 133€ for the blade. I think this is very fair considering the price of high-end composite blades nowadays.
Could do a review at some point and directly compare it with AJH TMXi Pro and FZD ALC, if anyone is interested
I never tried TMX Pro, therefore cant compare with that one.Yes please! Especially for it being the same size as TMXi Pro, do confirm if it's head heavy as well.
Would be also interested to see how this compares to TMX Pro where it's of the same size and outer carbon.
I do have a TMX pro Cho Dae Song blade where it pretty fast and stiff blade. The headsize is similiar to TMXi Pro. It feels more like a Viscaria Super ALC rather than a Viscaria. There is no vibrations at all which is very much similiar to an outer carbon blade.I never tried TMX Pro, therefore cant compare with that one.
But I have a Hugo HAL and I used to have the 36.5 ALX. I expect the LSS ALX to play similarly to the 36.5 ALX, basically a slightly slower and softer variant of Viscaria without the metallic vibrations.
And, I am really curious to see how a viscaria structure with bigger headsize (Hugo ALX) will feel and play. I believe the Hugo ALX will also have the larger handle, similar to AJH TMXi Pro handle that I find very comfortable.
