Hey i've been playing FH: dignics 09c 2,1 and BH: rakza 7 soft 2,0 / rakza Z 2,3 for about 5 months. But havnt been happy about my BH so i tried flipping the racket and then i wanted to go for dignics 09c on both sides. Now to my question. The new dignics 09c i got is super slow compared to my 5month old one. Is this normal to be much slower with a new one and will it become faster over time? does it have break-in period or is it something wrong with the rubber? How long will it last?

I feel the same way actually. I think it is because the new one is more "sticky" as it is new and the sponge isn't "broken into".

yeah i showed it to a friend and he agreed 100% it was clear when dropping ball on racket etc the difference was huge. the interesting thing though is , after 1 practise it already feels faster so i think i could notice an improvement, im thinking best case it will feel like same speed in few more practises, worst case some month or never :D

Yes, it's normal. Slower for the first hour or two, then loses a little tack and speeds up. Poor durability compared to H3 or non-tacky rubber, average for a hybrid. How long it lasts depends on what you consider acceptable.

What should i feel when a dignics09 has been used for too long? What are the things i should consider to know when to refresh with a new one?

Completely subjective. For me it's when my loops start missing long.

No, it's slower after ~2 weeks of use. I judge based on loops, which is what I buy the rubber for, not silly tests like dropping a ball on the racket.

Give it a try. It gives the sponge a spur, without any oil applications.
Pending for Patent Registration. 🇧🇾🇮🇱

Totally normal for a new rubber out of the pack. The tackiness is higher and the sponge hasn't been used yet. I find the usage 6-8 hours is all it needs, does something to the sponge, wakes it up or whatever..?
My 09c is still as tacky as it was when I bought it (Input the plastic sheet back on it after every use)!but it's definitely a bit faster.
