The sad truth is that there is probably no table tennis equipment manufacturers in the US right now, and who knows the tariff policies will change again. All manufacturers will bring their production to the U.S. and the prices will plummet.

The de minimis threshold to China was eliminatedIt probably won't affect things much if you buy it from smaller vendors directly from China, they tend to declare $500 packages for $15, and nobody can verify. If you buy from say TT11 though then you're SOL. Last time when Trump briefly revoked the de minimis law TT11 shipments were being held up at customs for some of my clubmates. Presumably if the revocation had held up tariffs would've needed to be paid before they'd been released.
Now that the de minis law appears to be truly revoked, I expect all cross border shipments to have issues, though only vendors who honestly report the value of their shipments will be hit hard by the tariffs.
Right, and I believe it'll go into effect next month. It'll likely lengthen shipments from smaller vendors from China, but the actual $$ amount won't really matter since they declare so little. A 30+% tariff on a "$15" package is only like $5.The de minimis threshold to China was eliminated
So now you will be paying import duties on products of any value coming into the US from China. Thankfully it still appears to be in place for the EU and Japan.
It's really a matter of how much the distributers are getting hit now. If Megaspin gets their stuff directly from China, say dozens of sheets a time, or from DHS in North America who could be importing thousands of sheet at a time, it's not going to be pleasant.Right, and I believe it'll go into effect next month. I think The de minimis threshold to all countries not just China was eliminatedThe de minimis threshold to China was eliminated

The inflation will probably be at about the same rate for all sellers since they need to pay the tariff tax one way or anotherIt's really a matter of how much the distributers are getting hit now. Megaspin does not really stock equipment. They just take orders and pass them to other online storesIt's really a matter of how much the distributers are getting hit now. Be that as it may, it's still going to someone who has to import the rubbers and rackets, which will be hit by tariffs, and larger orders mean higher duties.Megaspin does not really stock equipment. They just take orders and pass them to other online stores
but sorry to spoil you, even that, they are importedI guess we can expect lots of reviews of Killerspin equipment in coming months![]()
