Any news and info on Zhang Jike's New donic bluegrip j line?

Just wanted to know if anyone had tried the new Donic bluegrip j series( J1, J2 and J3)

My sheets of J1 ans J2 arrived today. Will get mounted on my Xiom TMXi Pro tomorrow and first training on Friday.

Ok. sheets are mounted.

J1 2.0mm was at 73g (17x17cm) without packaging, but with cover foil.
J2 2.0mm was at 70g.

The cut weight is 20g less for each sheet, but be aware that TMXi Pro has a larger head size. Total weight is 199g.

The cover of the J‘s state „Chinese special stickiness“. Not sure what that‘s suppose to mean, but there is no stickiness at all. The dampening effect is clearly there. So catching the ball with these rubbers is easy, but lifting a ball? No way.

Despite the harder sponges, both sheets are very flexible, compared the compact and stiff structure of H3 and alike.
Grip seems to be high. On my spin/bounce test, there was no „squeaky“ sound, like with my O8 China or O8 Hybrid.

Let’s see how this translates into spin tomorow. But I fear, that the sheets need some time to come alive. My O8 China (mounted on my W968) also plays quite differently after 6 hours of training (a bit faster and spinier, than in the first sessions).

So the first 3 hours are played and here some impressions.

Grip of both sheets is excellent. I'm still developing my VH/BH Flips, but it was much easier and controlled with the J's compared with the Z52.5 and O8 China I currently play on my W968.

Also the dampening of the harder sponges are also very noticeable in short game and during serves. It's easy to generate short spinny balls.

Passive blocks are also very good and controlled. No "dead" feeling that I had with the H3 (even boosted).

When activating the sponges the sheets come alive and especially the J1 gets faster very quickly. It's something to get used to. So it is too early to make a judgement. I assume the sponges need still some hours of training until they reach there nominal feeling.
As expected the arc of J1 is slightly lower than with O8C, but I had no trouble to adjust. It was a bit more challenging when playing topspin down the line.

I will continue to compare this week and report back any new impression.

I have J2 sheets on the way from TT11. I'm looking forward to trying it out. From what I understand, the top sheet is from Bluestar and the sponge from Bluegrip. I currently use Bluestar A2 so I will test the new rubber against the old on my matched Xiom TMXi blades.

okay so how are they different from the other hybrid rubbers in terms of spin while looping etc. also durability wise is it looking gud or bad.

Since TMXi Pro is much heavier (95g vs 90g W968) this could play a role. But I really like the feeling of the Js, so I will now go ahead and mount the Js to my W968 and continue to play them next week in my training sessions.

Thank you for posting the testing updates, I have used C1 and C2, along with A1 and A2, but have been unable to test J1 or J2 max thickness as they were sold out last time I looked. I was looking for new rubber for my girlfriend who is using C1 rubber. Looks promising...
