It took me some time to get this Stiga blade, since it was sold out almost everywhere in the Chinese market, even online.
I would like to make some comparison just for your reference.

Well , I just have had about 3 days (1-2hours/day) to test it.
I will compare among these 3 blades.
Harimoto ZLC (zlc) 88g
Hina Hayata H2(H2) 92 g
Tibhar Felix Hyper Carbon (Hyper) 85g
Stiga hybrid surge carbon (surge) 88g

Rubber: Boosted by Haifu Seamoon Rakza 7 max both side.

All I can confirm for the time being is the surge gives very soft feel among others.

Throw Angle : zlc >h2>surge>Hyper
Power : Hyper=surge>h2>zlc
Control : h2=zlc >surge=Hyper
Spin : Still investigating

The other 3 blades I have been playing with more than half a year, so I know its character but for the surge as to my initial impression that it gives effect a lot especially extra kicking.

Well , I will have time to practice again next weekend so I will keep you posted.

If you want to know anything, please let me know.

Rakza 7 max?
Your boosting which is wasted on Rakza 7, did you mean Rakza Z extra hard?

Cheers

Yes, I mean Rakza 7 max. The boosting is to make rubber more lively to play. Actually I have Stiga DNA Hybrid H , Joola Tronix ZGR , Glayzer 09c in my hand but I want to test with old generation classic rubber first. Rakza Z EH is too heavy and slow with I really don’t like.

OK, you mean max thickness…
But I would never boost a Rakza 7. I think you ruin it by boosting. It’s plenty soft and bouncy as is…

I'm interested in this blade. The handle looks thicker than usual. Could you provide some measurements?

In the pictures you posted, I see a W968 with a C55. Did you compare the two rackets?
I don’t know details about handle but I accept that it is thicker than all blades I have. The W968 is not mine , it’s from my teammate and it’s personal version. It is the best w968 Inhave ever tried. I let him try the surge and he said the feel is very soft but it has effect of kicking.

You did not specificly say "on all blades" and in your pictures there was a HL5 with C55 for some reason.

I was asking because I always thought that ZLC was known for lower throw than ALC.
That is not HL5. It is W968. The fiber itself can’t always be that. I used to play with Apolonia , Cedric but the throw angle is not that high.

I will not be able to review this blade further more as it’s not suitable for my style and I sold to my friend.

But before I sold I put Stiga DNA Hybrid H (FH)and Glayzer 09c (BH)rubber on this blade and I found the feeling is completely different from Rakza 7 on both sides. It gives more firm and solid feeling with tremendous spin on forehand side. While it gives good control on backhand but I can’t create good spin and curve.

I think this blade is suitable for Chinese rubber or Hybrid more than pure tension.

That’s all I can say.
