New Andro NUZN 48 and 45

I want to give NUZN 45 a try. When will the 48 and 45 be available?
Dandoy Sports usually receives new stuff early.

But there is some new info on these rubbers.

They are a new interpretation of the NUZN technology aimed at non-professionals, so they are not just "FX" versions with softer sponges only (as we know them from other manufacturers). Longevity and grip (both outstanding features of the series) remain, but the fine tuning makes them more controllable.
Sponge thicknesses of 1,9 and 2,1 indicate the direction also.

So if you´re not a pro or very ambitioned higher league semi-pro/amateur you can now get NUZN rubbers aimed at your level at an attractive price.

And even though I love the NUZN 50 to bits I am very tempted to try 48 and compare it to other hybrids not aimed at the very top.

Fine pore sponge, pretty dense like D09C. I think D09C has a harder feeling but they have different topsheet structures so hard to say. I felt Nuzn55 was more forgiving in open play and had better feeling allaround, even though D09C is stickier, it felt like D09C resisted the ball more, it was more difficult to get D09C to do the things I wanted it to do. In exchange D09C provided more quality when I hit the ball well

The important point is that it´s not just a softer sponge stuck under an existing topsheet ("FX version"), but a new variation of all components to fit non-professional players while retaining the general NUZN feeling.

Unsurprisngly you get less power from NUZN 48 in 2.1 compared to NUZN 50 in max, but it´s still a great mixture of over the table control and open game ease of play.

With the adjustment in price, ask yourself this: Do I need all the power of NUZN 50/55 (and can I access it?), or will NUZN 48 do and save you 20 Euro per sheet?
Find out for yourself, it´s worth it.

Can you compare it to other rubbers you have played? From other brands as well if you can?
