I chatted to her during WTTC,
she really needs to take few months off, and heal from all her ailments.
It is truly affecting her performance, and at age 28, recovery will take longer and injuries will surface more regularly.

past 12 month, this is event number 20 for her

What a match! Totally entertaining.
Talking about athleticism, did you notice a matrix move from Jang?
In the last game, at 4:3 with Felix leading, fearless Felix served a long bullet to the thick teeth of Jang, Jang reacted with a immediate step around fast forehand loop which itself was impressive. After the loop, Jang wasted no time trying to reposition his body to cover the forehand. Somehow, Felix blocked Jang's shot and redirected back to Jang's backhand corner. Matrix movement happened when Jang's body already was moving to the forehand and had to do a quick pivot reversing the body motion in the air.
Beautiful play even though it lasted only a couple of seconds.

Then she didn't tell you the truth. Her condition is incurable and she doesn't know how long she can keep playing.

Japan's Odo will meet American Lily next round. Odo is obviously a better player. Somehow, playing style wise, Lily has a decent chance against Odo. For Lily her best chance is playing typical women's game, i,e exchange with fast pace mainly from backhand. Odo is a powerful player but fast pace with occasional wide angle will handicap her from launching those power shots. Of course, Lilly needs to control her unforced errors.

Odo has the nuclear weapons of hidden illegal serves and there is no TT Review here. That to me decides the match.

Interesting Felix was winning most forehand to forehand loop rallies against forehand monster Jang.
Jand had 4 lucky nets in the second game but still was lost in close margin.
He somehow has upgraded his power on his forehand in just the last month or so. And he sometimes slows down the game when he usually would have gone all in. Definitely a step in the right direction
