After been as number 1 for a few months, everyone is paying close attention to him and finally LSD's vulnerability has been exposed. He will suffer defeat like today more often until Chinese coaches figure out a way help him.

Good news from China that FZD is back in the hunt for LA Olympic and that's a big relief especially LSD started showing regression. Compared to women's team, Chinese men's team is vulnerable.

I hate to say it, but it's time for LSD to retire. He's already 20 and still losing to unseeded players in the second round of tournaments. And barely got past the first round against some other unseeded guy called Lin! Are you kidding me? Off you go to MLTT.

Women's team may also be vulnerable after LA28 unless KM and Chen Yi step up. Or SYS and WMY might have to pull a Ma Long playing until 36.

Chen Yi appears to be stepping up already: came back from three games down vs Hayata and beat SYS in Vegas, now just won this one from two games down and then five straight points àt 7-10 in game 5 against WR2. Not just talented, but has ice water in her veins.

It's official. The strategy is to provide a dizzying 200+ food options for the players so that they focus less on playing, thereby causing all these upsets.

So Chen Yi beats Hayata from 0-3 behind
KM from 2-3
WMY from 0-2

Hayata if i recall was laughed at by zeio
I wonder what abusive names zeio will now label WMY

Never the less, CY is becoming a giant and not just by her height

it's interesting to see how a tall player play. Unlike Dima getting really low to the ground, CY stays low just enough and her elbow controls how she plays especially the BH flick

Really? I have not heard anything from Weibo or XHS that he is interested in comeback for LA.

He should take Kao with him to MLTT
so we going to have a MLTT with a WTT champions roster ownership.
but I can't say the same about the players.

This will be the only sport league in the world where the owners will out play the professional players hired by them.

MS R16
AJH 3-2 F. Lebrun (-3, 4, -5, 9, 12)
MS R32
JWJ 2-3 F. Lebrun (11, -10, -8, 8, -9)

Felix said he beat JWJ in the short game, not unlike how Moregard beat Togami at WTTC 2025.

WTT横浜。「勝負を分けたのはネット際」──F.ルブラン、大接戦を突破。今夜、安宰賢と対戦
https://world-tt.com/blog/news/archives/288960
Regarding his performance against Jang Woojin (South Korea), he analyzed, "The reason I won was because my over-the-table play was very good. It was an important part in defeating my opponent, so I'm glad it went well." In his next match, he will face South Korea's An Jaehyun. "I lost to him last year at the Saudi Smash, so I want to see how much I've grown in the meantime," he said enthusiastically.

With this win, AJH proves he's the worthier one (over JWJ) for the WTTC 2019 MS bronze.

They should work on the fine detail of the serve and 3rd ball and vice versa the receive and 4th ball, like what Harimoto has touched on, when to push (to rein others in) and when to loop (to rein yourself in). In Chinese, 前三板處理粗糙 (rough handling of the first 3 strokes).

Still far from KNT players when it comes to that aspect.
