WS F
SYS (1) 2-4 CXT (3) (6, -8, -3, -5, 6, -5)
First CS title for CXT?

WS SF
CXT (3) 4-1 WYD (5) (-6, 8, 8, 6, 7)

CXT = Tanaka of CNT.

Really makes you wonder what's in them they don't like?

Pleasantly surprising result. Chen finally has something like the one win that Lin Gapyang never had lol.
Well, Tongtong isn't a choker, she just isn't quite as good as the ones who typically won. She just needs some luck, be on the top of her game while her opponent isn't quite at the top of theirs, and then play enough games and she can win one. She doesn't usually have the best land rate when she steps up on power on the FH side, but today she can't miss. What a turnaround from looking like losing to Hayata to soundly defeating WYD and SYS!

WCQ vs Truls match surprised me even though I bet WCQ with good odds. I didn't expect a lopsided win for WCQ. Whatever words you can use, totally dominated, annihilated, destroyed,... fits the scene.

The result of the game was not about how poorly Truls performed but rather how brilliantly WCQ played. Through out the match, you didn't see usually expressive Truls frustrated or angry to himself, rather his expression showed helpless and hopeless like he were playing a god.

The first play of the match had a strong indication how the match would trend: WCQ served fast long to Truls backhand sending a signal of aggression. To Truls's credit, he was ready and executed a perfect backhand cross court drive to WCQ's wide forehand, a typical approach a right handed uses against a lefty. Usually, this shot would place Truls in a scoring position, but not against WCQ, he sprang with lightening speed to the wide forehand and returned a vicious loop that caused Truls an error. This inhumanly reaction and speed happened at the first play showed WCQ was in the zoom right from the get go.

The slaught lasted until a time out in the 4th game that brought WCQ back to the human level. But, it's too late and the damage was already done.

If WCQ maintains his form, Tomo will have little chance for a revenge.

Lin usually lost to better players as well, but he deserved one. It's unfortunate he never got one.

WCQ's usually reliable vicious backhand is off, pressure got him. He is a human after all.
Yes, he is human. You can't go faster than he does but you can still do things to throw him off. Felix showed this already. Harimoto is showing it now just in a different way.
