We Challenged Olympic Champion Zhang Jike!

HEY GUYS! Today on the Channel we have something SPECIAL…!! We flew out to CHINA to take on one the GOATS of the game! 🐐

We took on Olympic, World and Grand Slam champion… ZHANG JIKE!! We faced the legend at his brand new DONIC-powered academy in Hangzhou! 🏓 Big shout out to Donic and Zhang Jike for making this epic collab happen!

3. Kanak Jha aka Beast
4. Timo aka Dan

Dan has a Timo flair to it and today I shall declare Beast has the Kanak's flair. Tom, according to Teacher Zhang has Truls' flair. Dane, well can't place him with anyone, but very generic Euro'esque flair.

Well, let's face it: We kinda knew that some Donic promotion would happen. In fact, pretty much the whole thingy is promotion or wouldn't have been possible if not for some kind of promo in exchange...
But I for myself expected that, so I can easily ignore it. The only thing I did "not like" about it, is that this clip is only 16 min. long, i.e. short. Wish that it would've been an hour or so and ZJK would have played whole matches against the TTD guys.
Nevertheless, the game vs. Dane was very entertaining, if not spectacular...
Theoretically, I would very probably trade in a national championship title against that kind of one-game-performance by the Dane incl. the experience of playing ZJK.
It sure looked like that ZJK was himself a bit surprised about Dane's performance.
Great stuff.

I noticed @Dan using the ZJK New Era blade with I presume J1 both sides. Were you just using it for the video or are you switching to it full time? What are your thoughts on the New Era blade and the J1 rubbers?

He won't answer this publicly but he is only using it for the video.

Amazing! Loved Beast talking about how it was a bad matchup for Tom based on... styles, lol. You could tell he had a young man's optimism going into his match. Dane is one of a kind (can't believe his style was labeled generic in a previous comment), he's hit a handle shot on multiple pros at this point and always surprises them with his level. Hey Gozo, haha love it! Funny enough Beast was saying all his team mates say he plays like Kanak too!

We're releasing a new video with Zhang Jike on Friday, funny enough he actually says I play like Timo... I'll take that ha!
