Hello

This is an answer from sanwei official: Paramid 丝印.png is an inner carbon fiber blade.

The structure is

Para-aramid carbon fiber is the best carbon fiber ping pong paddle. Although it looks similar to the ALC, the Para-aramid fiber carbon can give you a more comfortable feeling. when I use Paramid 丝印.pngto loop, it could give me a very fast second speed and a good arc.

Of course, also recommend you read other professional reviews. Hope my answer will be helpful,

I have used this for a couple of training sessions. My usual blade is Yinhe - V14 Pro, and compared to that, Paramid is a faster blade. It's really nice when attacking and it works good with my normal rubbers (DHS - H3 41deg & Yinhe - Big Dipper 38deg). The only issue I have is that it's a tiny bit too fast for me. The inner Para-aramid carbon gives a softer feeling compared to my outer ALC V14 Pro, and the Paramid has a really special hollow sound when hitting the ball.

I tried this blade that a club member brought and I quite like it. It's fast even when using unboosted DHS Skyline TG3 and it has good control and spin. Throw was a little low but it might have been the rubber. It has that woody, slightly vibration feel that some may like. If I was forced to use a budget blade I would not have any issue using the Paramid. This is a hidden budget gem.

My coach offers me Sanwei Paramid with Yinhe Mercury. Is this suitable for beginners / kids ?
No you should have a more allround blade like Sanwei - Accumulator S, Haitian - Y-I, LOKI - Kirin 2, DHS - Wind SR-A, Yinhe - 896 or 729 - Dragon S1 for example. Paramid is much too fast for young beginners.

Isn't Paramid just the updated version of F3 Pro? Or is it really different?

I feel the F3 Pro is really quite good for beginners, soft and flexy, but with enough speed, comfortable.

No I feel that it's quite fast. Faster than my Yinhe - V14 Pro and Yinhe - PRO-01 blades. I wouldn't give this to a beginner :)

Well, while the Megaspin site does say that the Paramid "is optimized from Sanwei's classic blade F3 Pro. The thickness of the core was reduced and carbon sheet adjusted to balance the weight, but not lose speed."
They go on to say, among other things: "The Paramid was designed for high level players."

Sanwei themselves stamp the blade with "Off+", classify it among their "Expert Carbon" blades, and their description includes: "Designed for mature professional players."
