The script was flipped between Charlotte Lutz and Jiangshan Guo. For those who don't know or don't recall, Jiangshan Guo, with long pips on the BH and an amateur at the time, beat pro male player Iba Diaw. But in the qualifiers of the Europe Smash, Charlotte had Jiangshan all frustrated throughout the match though only directed at herself. Charlotte would serve a fast side or side under that Jiangshan had trouble controlling so it often pop up or go long. She would also BH loop into the LP and loop or smash to the opposite corner the LP block. Big difference in mentality between Charlotte and Andreas. Charlotte would *target* the LP as a point of weakness.

that is the right mentality.
I heard amateurs always say to other who are playing these kinds of LP players-don't play into the backhand, play more into the forehand, and that straight away is a loosing cause, because this kind of LP players, stay dead in the center of the table and can use the backhand for 80% of the table - maybe even more.

So the strategy for playing into the forehand is suicide - meaning, you only having 10~20% of the table to play and too easy for the opponent to just wait there for you.

It is very important when playing these LP styles is to move them around - attacking into the BH, pushing into the FH etc, and not them be comfortable in controlling the rhythm, but rather frustrate them that they can't control the rhythm.

Levenko has a weak BH, so he has a disadvantage when the pips are targeting his backhand.
if you are 2 wing player + with patience, its all about strategy and for men's players, should be able to out power the close to table LP player when opportunity arises.
