also, how does 42.5 hardness meet demands of next generation if the trend is to go harder on sponge? even I, and I love soft rubber, had to go up in hardness and I have a feeling I have to go even higher on sponge hardness level ...

For intermediate to advanced players, sure. Plenty of those play with Vega Europe Df

Because the majority of players dont care what the "meta" is and take whats comfortable/known. Also there are a dosen of kids, elderly or beginners to intermediate players who struggle to hit consisten shots with Rubbers as hard or harder than 47°.

So i think this is a good alternative in todays market, especially where everything is made in Germany and hard.
A Japanese softy is very welcome in my eyes. And at a price below 50Euros this should be very attractive for the wide mass.

And you are right with that, hard rubbers do have their advantage in todays game.
I just support those softer type Rubbers, since I think they tend to die out and many amateurs would probably like or prefer them.

Yeah. But so many people do not play today´s game ;-)
That what professionals will tell you about adjustments to be made and equipment to be changed is quite irrelevant for seasoned players in lower leagues, hence Sriver and co still being around.
And without a technical adjustment different equipment will not help much.

But it can be amusing to see some people upgrade to faster blades and harder rubbers because "with plastic ball you HAVE TO!", and then they play ALC with Dignics exactly like Allplay with Coppa.

Another one of the same family is announced; Victas Swat Power Spin. It is 47.5 hardness in contrary to the 42.5 degrees of the Victas Swat Spin. Available in MAX, 2.0 and 1.8 only in black and red

No, but I assume that the weight of Swat Power Spin will be very close to the Stiga Mantra Pro M as they are the same hardness and from the same factory (Daiki).
The Swat Spin should be lighter!

Daiki did an excellent job this time with the Hammonds, Mantras Pro, Ettikas, Swats etc. And the price is where it should be; a lot of "rubber" for their price. It is time for a 3rd player (in the Euro/Jap type of rubbers) to join the fight with ESN and BTY that overprice their rubbers!

hopefully Daiki rubbers continue to improve and gives a balance to a very well needed pricing of rubbers.

Probably lighter, normal Swat Spin is softer than G1 and Daiki seems to be quite light in general compared to most ESN products. My Etikas where all around 45g cut +- a few gramms.
You can expect something like 45g and below for Victas Swat Spin aswell, depending on thickness and natural variation.
Even the Power Spin with the same hardness could be lighter aswell
