European U13 Championships-2025 will be held from September 24 to 28, 2025, in Kosta (Sweden). The tournament is organized by the Swedish Table Tennis Association under the patronage of the European Table Tennis Union.
The tournament format includes four events: mixed team, mixed doubles, and boys’ and girls’ singles.

Participants

U13 players must be under 13 years old on 31 December of the year preceding the tournament (players born on or after 01.01.2012).
Eligible to participate:
  1. Athletes from ETTU Member Associations, except as defined in point 2.
    • Each association may enter only one team — maximum three boys and three girls.
    • Each association may enter up to 6 players for Individual events: no more than 3 players in U13BS, 3 players in U13GS, and 6 players in XD events.
    • In special cases, associations may enter players for Individual events only.
  2. Athletes from ETTU Member Associations holding Belarusian or Russian passports may participate as Individual Neutral Athletes (AIN) under the following conditions:
    • Participation allowed only in Singles and Mixed Doubles, maximum three boys and three girls.
    • AIN may be entered if they submitted the ITTF Additional Terms of Participation document and received ITTF approval.
    • AIN may participate if host country authorities approve their entry and participation.
  3. Mixed Doubles composition:
    • Pairs may include players from different associations.

Tournament Playing System:
Mixed Team Event:

Each team: 2 boys and 2 girls. Order of matches (Team A vs Team B):
  1. Mixed Doubles (XD)
  2. Girl A1 vs Girl B1 (not playing XD)
  3. Boy A1 vs Boy B1 (not playing XD)
  4. Girl A2 vs Girl B2 (played XD)
  5. Boy A2 vs Boy B2 (played XD)
All 5 matches of Stage 1 and Stage 2 must be played. Team match results:
  • 5:0 – 5 points
  • 4:1 – 4 points
  • 3:2 – 3 points
  • 2:3 – 2 points
  • 1:4 – 1 point
  • 0:5 – 0 points

Stage 1:
Teams: 28 Groups: 7 (7 groups of 4 teams: A–G)
Top 2 teams per group advance to Final A (S2); 3rd and 4th teams to Final B (S3).

Stage 2:
Final A S2: 14 teams, 2 groups of 3 (groups 1 & 2) and 2 groups of 4 (3 & 4)
Group winners: 1–4 places, 2nd: 5–8, 3rd: 9–12, 4th: 13-14.
Final B S3: 14 teams,2 groups of 3 (groups 5 & 6) and 2 groups of 4 (7 & 8)
Winners: 15–18, 2nd: 19–22, 3rd: 23–26, 4th: 27-28.

Stage 3:

Positions 1–4
Semifinals: G1 vs J1, H1 vs I1
Finals: 1st place – semifinal winners, 3rd place – losers

Singles Events:

Stage 1: groups of 3–4 players, winner and finalist advance, 3rd and 4th to consolation.
Stage 2: direct KO.

Doubles Events:

Main draw: direct KO.
Pairs from different associations allowed.
All matches played best of 5 games.

Stage 1:

Top 2 teams per group advance to Final A (S2); 3rd and 4th teams to Final B (S3).

Stage 2:
Final A S2: 14 teams, 2 groups of 3 (groups 1 & 2) and 2 groups of 4 (3 & 4)
Group winners: 1–4 places, 2nd: 5–8, 3rd: 9–12, 4th: 13-14.
