European Youth Table Tennis Championships-2026 (also known as Campeonato da Europa de Jovens de 2026) will be held from 10 to 19 July 2026 in Gondomar (Portugal). The tournament is organized by the Portugal Table Tennis Association (Federação Portuguesa de Ténis de Mesa) under the auspices of the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU). The championship will feature competitions in the Cadet category (Under 15) and Junior category (Under 19).
The event includes team, doubles and singles competitions for boys and girls in both age categories, as well as mixed doubles events.
Participants
The Championships are open to all member associations in good standing with no outstanding fees. All players must be eligible to represent their respective associations in accordance with ETTU Handbook Regulation B.1.2.
Players in the Under 19 category must be under 19 years of age on 31 December of the year preceding the year of the Championships (i.e., juniors born on or after 01.01.2007). Players in the Under 15 category must be under 15 years of age on 31 December of the year preceding the year of the Championships (i.e., cadets born on or after 01.01.2011).
Each association may enter only one team in each team event.
The host association may nominate up to 20 players, including no more than 6 players competing in boys' U19 singles, doubles, and mixed doubles; 6 players in girls' U19 singles, doubles, and mixed doubles; 4 players in boys' U15 singles, doubles, and mixed doubles; and 4 players in girls' U15 singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. However, no more than 5 players may be entered in the U19 boys' team and 5 players in the U19 girls' team.
Each other association may nominate up to 18 players, including no more than 5 players in boys' U19 events and mixed doubles; 5 players in girls' U19 events and mixed doubles; 4 players in boys' U15 events and mixed doubles; and 4 players in girls' U15 events and mixed doubles.

TEAM EVENTS
will be played in multiple stages. The first stage is held in groups, followed by either group stages, progressive knock-out rounds, or direct play-off matches. In progressive knock-out or play-off rounds, a final placement match will be held only if necessary to determine seeding for the following year’s championships or qualification for other events. All teams participating have the opportunity to compete for the title of European Champion.
INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
- In singles events, 32 seeded players will be placed directly into the main draw of the knock-out stage. All other players will compete in qualification groups of 3 or 4 players. Qualification matches are played best of 5 games; main draw matches are played best of 7 games.
- All doubles events will be conducted in a knock-out format. All doubles matches are played best of 5 games.
