The two greatest innovations to improve sport games to the better.

1️⃣ 3-pointer zone in basketball

2️⃣ Colourful safety label (SL) in table tennis

BRIEF INTRODUCTION
-- The main function of SL is to prevent illegal manipulation (both by players and manufacturers) on the sponge layer. In the case that safety label is gone or damaged, this gives an Umpire a sure indication of some illegal manipulation on the sponge.
Again, the safety label could effectively discourage players from regular boostering on rubbers.
It is hoped the safety label does possess a great potency to keep up fair play both with players and manufacturers.

no, he is suggesting to have 5 member "doubles" event now! and if any one has illegal serves, the opponent can go to the free throw line

it's Igor. He hails from Vodkastan. You'll need to drink lots of it to understand him.

All modern rubbers are tuned, right? So I don't really see the difference between factory tuning and a player tuning their own. Let's say a DHS employee is assigned to tune the rubbers inside the factory a few days before a match, then sends them to the players just hours before the game, would that still count as factory tuning and be considered legal?

it counts as factory tuning.
in fact, DHS can have a "moving factory" that travels with the players.
This moving factory consist of rubbers and a bottle of booster in a bag that is branded DHS factory

😂 That's my point.

..
So what's the point of this?

I see Igor's point, there's just a lack of explanations. I guess it's like all the safety labels countries put on their banknotes to avoid counterfeiting, but we don't know where this safety label should be applied, on the rubber or the sponge ? because if it's the rubber, of course when boostering it stretches, so yeah if the SL is then too large according to a standard that has been decided in the ITTF laws, then it should avoid couterfeiting by boostering, but I'm only making assumptions here...

That's the problem with Igor, there are valid points in his posts sometimes, but his explanations are really poor.

Igor my glorious king strikes again 💔

I think I know what he means, let me try to interpret his hieroglyphics:

So, every racket has a little hoop in the middle of it, and when the ball shoots that little hoop from the 3rd pointer line, they get 3 points. And like the hoop notices magnets to repel the ball so they know if the rubber is treated or not? What if I boost it mechanically with that wheel thing tho?
