It's a constant in Champions, already 2 times Felix Lebrun vs Simon Gauzy (Montpel last year and Frankfurt the year before), there's only 8 seeded players and for the rest of them it's russian roulette. Franz vs Xiang Peng at R32 already is somehow a nonsense. The ATP Masters 1000 feature way more players with 2 qualification rounds then it starts at R64 with byes for the firsts 8 seeded players over 12 total.
