Donic Anders Lind Hexa vs Nittaku Septear Feel Inner

So i am about to switch my Stratus Power Wood with either of those 2.

Reason being, after i had a Palio Legend 3 from a friend to try out with Fastarcs compared to my setup, i instantly realized how much more i liked the palio. i kind of hate the feel of hard rubber (g1 in particular) on soft blade like Limba Stratus, makes it feel mushy in a very weird way. and the slight higher speed and the bouncyness of the hinoki outer ply made the G1 come alive. on the stratus, i think i just dont have the strength and phisique to play G1 because their linear character requires too much force and muscle strength to play.

the 2 options were: use rubbers with more catapult on my Stratus or get something carbon with harder puter ply for the g1 and i decides for the latter. The palio with g1 played really nice (but it could have been even a little faster and/or harder)

Now those 2 blades i am interested in because they both tick the boxes and are priced nicely. The A Lind. is koto outer (wich is even harder than hinoki) but has this weird combination with carbon inner to make it not overly hard and stiff from what i ve read. a Lind wound cost me 71 Euros.

now the septear feel inner actually is hinoki (but full hinoki) i mean i really enjoy the hinoki outer on the Palio, but not sure how it plays with every layer being hinoki? but again, if hinoki adds more bounce, that would pretty much solve alot of the issues i have with the g1. and is still on sale for like 67 Euros on tt11



Nittaku Tribus Carbon FL would be there to but i have no clue about that one, outerforce CAF is also in the same price range. not sure what else

Tbose are very different blades. Depends on your preference. I like koto blades over limba. Hence I'd prefer the anders lind blade

I would also consider the handles of these blades which I guess may be quite different. In example for me a good grip is important and if it doesn't fit good I will not like the blade.
So Nittaku FL handles are on the thinner side usually, like Yasaka, Victas, Stuor and Sanwei (of the ones I tried). Donic is usually thicker, rather on the middle of scale. So if you have larger hands it may be necessary and more diffcult to get Nittaku blade in ST handle (or special larger FL handle like they do for Acoustic model).

I think I get what you mean, when I compare G1 on my Korbel to G1 on my Innerforce Layer ALC it's like the power of the shot just gets lost in the blade on the all-wood option.
I have tried G1 on the innerforce, but also on Pro 01 and Timo Boll ZLC and the funny thing is, the feeling doesn't change all that much between Limba or Koto, but the fiber layer really helps in keeping the power of the shot in the ball, rather than letting it dissipate into vibration.

As for Hinoki, some people swear by it, I personally don't get the hype. It's both soft and bouncy and that kills feeling and control for me.

yeah pretty much exactly that. but i belive it has to do do something with the limba layer aswell. maybe i m wrong. i dont know. but the G1 on a flexible all wood dont work for me. as you said, it feels like the blad kind of swallows the entire power i put in? its so hard to describe. almost as if the palio legend 3 was actually linear to play and the g1 work like intended, lets say, i put in an 8 in power, i ll get an 8 in speed out of the blade. while the stratus, i feel like its -minus or negative linear? where if i put in 8 power, i only get like 5-6 speed on the ball and the rest of my energy is basically lost and the blade just slurps it up. (just imagine a scale 1-10 or something)

The IFL ALC has a Limba top, I don't feel the problem there.

so that would mean i should probably not take the nittaku? i once had a yasaka sweden extra and a stiga VPS in hand and they both felt so thin like its made for kids hands lol. couldnt even hold the yasaka

I abandoned Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon for that reason and Yasaka Sweden Extra of my colleague was the same. For Nittaku I can't say explicitly about Septear Feel Handle, but Nittaku Acoustic FL is surely thin, I saw a lot of guys in facebook groups complaining about it and the "Large handle" version is most sought after on secondhand market. Unfortunately only few Nittaku blades have "large handle" version (Acoustic and Violin I know).
Possibly ST version is thicker of course if you like straight handle.

I abandoned Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon for that reason and Yasaka Sweden Extra of my colleague was the same. For Nittaku I can't say explicitly about Septear Feel Handle, but Nittaku Acoustic FL is surely thin, I saw a lot of guys in facebook groups complaining about it and the "Large handle" version is most sought after on secondhand market. Unfortunately only few Nittaku blades have "large handle" version (Acoustic and Violin I know).
