Montpellier, like the Paris Olympics, is something special cos' this is where live the most pro-EU people, those are both Socialist Party strongholds, this party is 100% pro-EU. So they don't care what country from Europe you are, they will support you to death. Specially if it's against China, Russia or Argentina (in many sports argentinians have made their motto to sing racist chants against France, if they don't win it always end with provocations and/or brawls of all sorts) .

About Fan Zhendong, my poppa chubby, my favorite chinese player ever, we all can guess he's now out of the CNT and training way less than before. He said at multiple occasions he was a bit overwhelmed by all the negative attention he received from his own compatriots, be it in social media, being stalked in his everyday real life, and so on. Seems that Europe, and specially Germany, is the best country and continent for him to live his best life: no pressure from people when he goes outside, can go watch football matches with his friend Timo, can go to pop music concerts without having to feel accountable to his compatriots. When you're a football pro of course it's a bit different, but that is probably the only sport you can feel pressure from your compatriots in Europe, but that's mostly in England with the tabloïds. Germany, Spain, even Italy are way cooler with their football pros.

If Chen Yi loses her match I'd be more shocked than any of the others but here's hoping lol
So at least the chinese men all get eliminated round 1. Probably only WYD and CY then for the women too 🤣

Yeah their servers are overwhelmed I think, it's table tennis in France, and now there are matches with french players scheduled when the french people go back home from work.

Nope. They're hosted on Azure, which is suffering downtime at the moment

Azure... Microsoft so ? well it seems to be a constant with Microsoft products, that's why I'm still using an outdated W7, it's way less prone to "downtimes" than all the sh*t Microsoft has been releasing after.:ROFLMAO:
You know that Azure is a cloud platform not an operating system right?

Agree that MS products are a sack of s*** but you should be wary of using an outdated OS like W7.

You should check out a friendly Linux distro like Mint

I've been using mint but no Linux OS work with Roland audio interfaces, plus the only DAW you can use, Ardour, is a piece of crap.

I've never experienced bad things with my W7 Pro, I use it since at least a decade now. The only issues are with new apps designed for at least W10 only, so you can't install them.

Edit: when it comes to musician-friendly environment, people say Apple because of Logic Pro and Pro Tools, then Microsoft, but nobody talk about Linux for music production.
