i take a picture from recent match WTT Champions Montpellier 2025 .His blade has no yellow strip and gold tag on the handle and it does not looks like inner carbon blade and i notice that he does not use Zyre03 on his fh(D09c) but on his bh he use it.

He can't be using the S1, might be a custom handle with that lens in.
Yeah, that's the confusing bit, why would he even use the S1 handle on another blade. Does Butterfly need to shift their excess stock of S1? :poop:

I think it might really be an S1. Maybe that Zyre is a bit too fast for Dima on a carbon blade for now. He needs more time to get comfy?

i don't think so because he is butterfly main sponsoring player ,he can get custom made blade whatever he want from butterfly there is no point to use intermediate racket like S1

Why do you think S1 is terrible blade?
Well I only have limited experience but a friend bought one when it was released with a T05FX and T25FX, and somehow the blade felt so terrible to use. Which is puzzling since I think the Tenergy FX rubbers are quite fun to play with. And the blade was extremely heavy too.

But I don't want to blade shame, just my limited experience.

I'm surprised you can make out anything on this picture at all.
WTT has gone a long way to buy a better camera than the good old ITTF tours 😂 But they still left room to improve 🌚

Anything's possible I guess! The S1 isn't made in Japan and has an oval badge on the end of the handle, and has a darker wood outer ply. But in other footage of the match I can see the made-in-Japan square badge, and the top ply looks lighter.

Honestly, it's anyone's guess but seems like Dima is in an experimentation phase. Could be he was confident against the opponent and could test a setup. Or could be a reaction to his recent loss against Stumper - although it looks like he had the same handle in london as well.
