did i miss something regarding truls and anton, why does it seem that truls hates him lol he's not normally this loud
Yeah Truls is the odd man out on the Swedish team right now. Lots of things going on mostly stemming from coaching drama but also personal things behind closed doors.

He has gotten louder after Paris. This isn't the first time he is that loud.
It was less about the antics and more about it being so energetically directed at a teammate. Something must have gone on to motivate Truls especially and to mute Anton in general (though the scoreline may have muted Anton).

Maybe it's just acknowledging him as a strong opponent.

Yes, but this was more than that, and the handshake after the match didn't communicate that. Compare that to Uda and Harimoto, again screaming, but you could see the path, and after, you felt the friendship of teammates. Even Bobrow was surprised by Truls's energy and felt something was going on.

Bobrow definitely knows more than he's saying. He would leave innuendos, if he didn't know exactly what is happening.

Same thing. I'm looking at 3 years from now. As the H2H shows, Szocs losing to Winter has nothing to do with equipment.

3 Years out is fair. Nothing to do with equipment is interesting even if mildly defensible At the moment it is obvious though thar Sabine is the German #1.

Dunno what happened to Truls and what motivated him, but I suddenly lost all respect to the guy.
That's so weird. You have no idea what is going on, but there's not a single sensible option that would leave the door for respect open?
Whatever happened between him and Swedish TT Association, it looked like a behavior from a spoiled salty 13 y.o. kid.
Especially that he directed it at his buddy, who won him team silver at Paris 2024.
For all we know Anton slept with Truls' girlfriend or something. It's so shortsighted and judgmental to just drop your respect for someone without knowing anything about it.

Convenient to forget what just happened at China Smash 2025 just 4 weeks ago, and the close matches at ETTTC 2025 against Fu Yu and Surjan, even the one against Tianer Yu was close for the first 2 games. Against JNT players, her record is 1W6L as projected and the only win was 3-2 over Akae. Against CNT players (1W3L), an injured CXT was the only one she has defeated. If WYD with such a poor record against combination players could beat her without special training, consider the others. 2 KNT (KNY and LEH, the latter may not make LA28) and 2 TPE players (1 old and 1 young, not certain if they will make LA28) are the only other East Asian players she beat.

WD R16
Winter/WY 0-3 Sawettabut/Paranang (-14, -10, -8)
The score might not reflect it, but the Thai pair took the German pair apart, coming from behind in all 3 games. Both Sawettabut and Paranang ate anti for breakfast...

It was no fluke that they beat IND and PRK at Asian Games 2022 (well-deserved bronze) and FRA at Paris 2024. They know how to handle pips/anti...

Winter joined the Dark Side because "many very good Asian players have problems...". How many of them has she beaten thus far? In comparison, how many for her WD partner WY? The fact remains that unless the quota is increased, her odds for even WD are not good, let alone WS.

In my opinion, Bernadette is not very good at playing against "material".

Okay. So who is the German #1 at the current moment? Trying to see whether you addressed anything I wrote.

It's a bit rich to cite matches from 2010 and then cite close matches that were victories in 2025 as a counterargument as if the margin of victory only matters when you want it to.

It is easy to make a player look bad by only focusing on their losses BTW.

Everyone watching the match could see that Bernadette would love to rally with Winter's backhand but was disgusted with the ball coming from that exchange and couldn't do enough to maintain the initiative. But the experts have spoken and said it has nothing to do with backhand or material so...
