The winner of WYD and Miwa will likely enter the final round and win the whole thing if either of them can pass Honoka which is not a given.
If Honoka can chop down either WYD or Miwa, she has a very good chance being crowned.

Miwa unlikely to lose to Honoka, that for me is a given, but what is not given is her beating Wang. Wang is a different story, but then it becomes a 50-50 until we see how the match starts.

They aren't bothered by his WTT results (SCT London 2025 being his first second MS title after many finals). They have problems with his poor results in the 3 majors. Losing to Gerassimenko in R32/R2 at Paris 2024, Jarvis in R64/R2 at WTTC 2025 and failing to advance to KO at World Cup 2024 (1-3 Togami and 2-2 Saleh) and World Cup 2025 (3-1 Cifuentes [whereas Jha 4-0] and 2-2 with Jha [Jha beat him at WTT CS Yokohama 2025]) and yet he nagged about this and that on social media.

Completely agree with that, he's made a poor season until London, and it has cost team Germany that loss in the ETTTC's semis. It's like Bardet on RMC's (french broadcaster) interview right after his defeat vs Gauzy "I've made 2 or 3 wrong choices." dude... you've made a gazillion of unforced errors but Gauzy made less, that why you lost that poor match. It was a purge to watch, the worst match in that Champions. And then, all of a sudden, because Gauzy is always like that, in diesel mode the very first match he plays, he wins over Felix for the very first time in pros.

Yeah sometimes those guys should take communication lessons about how to talk in interviews and how to use social medias.

I will ask someone who I think should know. That said, it might simply have been something about Euro Teams and Truls not playing and how that was handled. That's another possibility given that the team lost without Truls and given how Truls looked today, I find it hard to believe he couldn't have played.

Truls did not play Euros because of injury. It might get intense a match between him and Kallberg having played each other many times.

Until recently (aka, before Felix and Alexis), table tennis was not attracting that much attention in France. So, they didn't need to learn.
On my side, I enjoy this medias candor. In opposition to, for exemple, soccer.

Hashimoto won the previous (and only) match against Joo this year.
