Players are not robots, tables, halls and balls are usually different and this usually hurts the players who went deep in the prior event as they have less time to adjust to the new settings. So all the semifinalists from Montpellier who are playing here have a decent risk of a first round loss depending on how easy or hard it is to adapt to the changes. Their opponents who lost and traveled out earlier have more time.
fine... Jha vs Hugo in the finals. and now we know how that goes

I'm not an expert in body language, but I don't see any animosity in Truls' body language. Perhaps some regret. Perhaps Anton resents him for skipping ETTTC.

I'll stop right here.

How does that answer the question?
That there is no special animosity, Truls was just being intense because he does what he feels he needs to be motivated to win against anyone including teammates.

I know, some people here like to spread conspiracy theories...

Ito reverses her result as well so now both Odo amd her have good draws to QF having beaten problem opponents.

Thakkar gets a good win for him over a really strong opponent.

Groth doesn't like playing Harimoto and nothing has changed there.

For this event they have switched back to the DHS DJ40+ balls. The DHS RS40+ balls were first used at the Europe Smash.

I wonder why they switched back to DHS DJ40+. Did they listen to all the complaints about the new ball?

What complaints? I thought the new ball was fairly well-received.
