Did i screw this rubber or the durability is just horrible? I’ve been using this new sheet for 4 weeks, the tackiness out of the package wasn’t much but it was there, it could lift the ball when pressing the racket from above.
But now it looks really horrible, i think i didn’t even reached 100 hours and it doesn’t have tackiness anymore, when looping it feels inconsistent, sometimes it catches the ball and the dweltime seems longer, and sometimes it doesn’t.
I have used other 4 sheets of hurricane, and i think all lasted more with some tackiness left, one sheet lasted 3 months.
Is there a solution for this? Should i use protective sheet? I’ve played this new rubber on another club, where i think there is more humidity, should i clean after each session?(how?) Does alliexpress products like hurricane 3 cleaner works? Provincial hurricane can last more?
Until early last week the rubber was ok i guess, i even reached semifinal in my league on 26 october.
I’ve boosted with FTL, i think the sponge stills responsive, so it still has some boost.

You might have gotten a bad one. DHS quality isnt always the best...

Using a protective sheet is always benefitial and especially for sticky rubbers.
Also clean it with water or your breath so no dust accumulates. Not sure about the cleaners, maybe if they are specifically for sticky type rubbers they can work but just water should be fine.
And yes humidity does effect the rubbers performance a lot.

I have a sheet of Yinhe Jupiter 3 Tour and its stickyness was basically gone. Then I cleaned it with water applied the protective sheet and let it sit a while and it recovered its stickyness. Sadly it goes away faster than reappearing

Hope this helps a little. Others will most likely know more and can help you too

I’ll try this one, thanks for the answer
Do you know if provincial version can last more?

I think you should get use to the idea that any rubber that can pick a ball off the table and hold it a few seconds or longer typically can't do that within a week or so. Even with cleaning & rubber protectors.

But that's okay. So long as the ball doesn't slip when you try to slide it across the surface, you're good to go. You don't want your rubber like fly paper anyways.

To me I'd still take a worn Chinese rubber over a new or used Euro style rubber. I simply don't like their topsheets in the feel that I'm accustomed to.

I’ve seen a hurricane 3 neo with 3 month of use picking a ball off the table for a really long time

20 years of using H3. The rule is simple.

in the 2000s commercial H3 was God-like. Last forver

In the 2010s, provincial H3 was God-like, last forever. Commercial was alright.

In the 2020s, both provincial (new stock) and commercial are sh*t. You need national H3.

DHS can't make commercial too durable, they need profit.

My old provincial H3 lasts a long time.
