These kinds of things/speculations are inevitable between teammates since the rankings have limits on number of events counted. In the end, the results are the results.
Truls also needs more points to be sure that he took Harimoto's 4th place after Fukuoka's points expired. No one wants to meet Wang Chuqin or Lin Shidong, in China, at Quaterfinals. With 4th in ranking he will also avoid LSD or WCQ or Hugo until semis. So basically Truls would some benifits if he can go further in Frankfrut.

The same benefit for Sweden as affect Anton's best result? I hear you, I am just explaining how such speculation works, it has affected the CNT team for years lol...

To be clear.
My speculation was not based on particular interests on WTT points/seeds/draws/ecc...

It was just first thing in mind while seeing Truls playing "not as Truls" or even not as a random player fighting for winning points as expected, that's all
And you don't think anything Anton did affected that?

Up and down for Truls is really normal from years to years. This also happened several times this 2025. He played "like Truls" (base on what you define what is "like Truls") this round and became "not like Truls" in the next round. Just check at US, China smashs, Incheon, Chongqing, Yokohama champions this year. Basically Truls relies heavily on his spin game set-up, so if people prepare for that, they might have a chance. Also Truls is easily to melt down when he found out he had no chance at all, this is also a match mentality that haunts him long ago. He had many things to work on. You can't never expect a young 23 years old guy, from a country with "minimal" team support, be consistence through several matches in a short amount of times.

Not enough to justify what I've seen.
Anton is great player (one of my favourite actually) and played solid shots; but, from my amateur point of view, quality of Truls balls were lower than usual and he had no tactic or gameplan but simply put the ball over the net.

He played "soft and predictable", without any reaction.
Maybe I wasn't ready to see that :)

No coach, right? Maybe that played into it as well.

Moregard should be treated as an old-school penhold player.

As long as one can match him in the closed game and suppress his 搶拉/"seize-loop" when serving (tight and well-placed serves) and his 發搶/serve-n-attack when receiving and catch his BH, then he's toast with his crappy open game, such as Tanaka at US Smash 2025, who used the same tactic of 調正壓反 as Harimoto did at Paris 2024.

e.g. 0:0 and 1:1 of G5

Water not good for Japanese players in the evening session. But Annett still has a lot to learn about playing really good defenders. Sabine clearly wasn't joking around last week so that is still a point of separation between the more experienced players (Sabine, Nina) and Annett.

I thought it would be a lot closer among compatriots, but Annett kept on insisting on attacking with her BH despite consistently losing points with it. I don't know if Sabine will be Germany's 1,2, or 3, but assuming she remains healthy, I can't see her not making the LA 2028 German TT Olympic team.

So why WCQ could not do the same in Paris or LSD in Sweden ? Truls game depends on his mood, he has won the Euro Smash, then took a rest. He's won Montpellier's champions, and you already knew he was going to Frankfurt like a tourist. Why do you think only his brother can coach him ? there are players like that are really difficult to coach because they'll always play free, they want to be free in their mind, even if they loose. Same sh*t happens with Alexis Lebrun

"va te faire foutre et démerde toi" --> go fck yourself and deal with it. Yeaaaaah.
