Question:
This kid at 14 years old called Benyamin Faraji has played really well up against the chinese top players. Is he able to compete in the future regular tournaments we all follow where our regular top 30 pro male single players compete? Or is there a age limit to this?
I mean I would love to see him up against all the European top players. If he can cause so much trouble for China I wonder what he can do in Europe.
He's 15 years old, and will be even 16 next december the 20th, but yeah I agree beating the top 2 CNT A team guys in a 1 year span is ridiculous. Now that being said, I think anyone could beat WCQ last year, Anders Lind did it after Truls, he was really down mentally. LSD, it's also ridiculous to say that, makes a poor season: he's been out too quickly at the WTTC, beaten by Truls in the Europe Smash, then by Felix (again) at the ... China ! Smash (says a lot, if he can't perform better in his own country, there's definitely a problem). He's also beaten An Jaehyun this year at ATTTC, but again An Jaehyun is now really far from the level he played at the WTTC.

But that's definitely a huge achievement already. Now Felix started at 15 on the WTT senior tour, so I guess there's no problem for him to start now at the senior level, and he already does it, problem is: he has not performed so well, even in the youth tour!
- Contender Almaty (not that far from Iran): 1W vs Joe Seyfried, but lost to Flavien Coton at the round after, he took a game 13-11, but the 3 others were brutal: -3 (!), -8, -6, yikes...
- Europe smash: didn't make it through the draw, eliminated in qualifications by Cho Daeseong -11, -2 (!), -9
- WTTC: he beats Wang Yang 4-3, nice achievement considering it's always hard for kids to play experienced defenders, but Jang Woojin beat him, with another brutal game lost 11-4.
- in men's double, they beat a poor pair from Kazakhstan 3-2, but then beaten by the Lebrun Bros. 3-0 with a bagel at the last game and an injured Alexis. That's the best he's done so far in considering the points awarded.
Won't go any further, he's promising but there's still a lack of consistency with games here and there lost by less than 5 points made.

He's now ranked 140th, at that same age (15 years 10 months) Tomo was already ranked 4th in April 2019, Felix was ranked 69th in July 2022. Means they performed with better consistency than Benji. That's what he'll had to do now: fighting for your country is ok, but you make a living in the WTT by winning more matches than that.

He plays the 2. Bundesliga but the SV Union Velbert team is doing really poor, he's played 4 matches for 2W and 2L. All firsts 5 stages are already 5 loss for this team. So it's still so-so for now.

I saw this match
the kid should of won 3-0

interesting that the club picked the Austrian Head Coach.
when my junior played CWX few weeks ago, it was an easy 3-0 and he said Chen couldn't really move.
from my sources, the club was planning another player, and some how they signed up CWX.
CWX is on a win 2, loss 4 record, and dropped from 2444 TTR to 2408 TTR.
if you want to gain TTR, you must play him!
