Thanks I’m going to suggest this for my club mate. He is at this point of his journey I was in 2022. We play quite similar, mainly controlling on BH to set up for stronger FH.

He is using currently using D64 on Cybershape Carbon and from his feedback he is about 8.5/10 there in terms of the setup matching up to his style. He has a very effective punch block.

From our training matches the only thing missing is being able to block back strong receive attacks when his serve drifts slightly long, chiquitas or backhand loops into his BH.

I can add one more vote for Mantra pro xh. Have lower spin sensitivity than G1.

For even less spin sensitivity, Spinlord sandwind - half-anti. But is less than 45 degrees.
Hi,
I have played Rakza 7, Rakza 7 soft and Mantra Pro M and H, Stiga DNA hybrid out of these the order of spin sensitivity is
Hybrid M and H least spin sensitive, Mantra Pro M, Mantra ProH (depends on the speed of the ball slow balls H maybe better than M but in general M), Rakza 7 soft, Rakza 7 ( much more spin sensitive than the Stiga rubbers. I have also played DNA Platinum S and Helix Platinum M - I haven't decided about these. The other factor for those two latter rubbers are that they are faster making comparison more challenging. They need light touch on the short game, I really like the Helix but mostly for its offensive capabilities.

From my testing, it seems like pimple diameter and spacing under the topsheet play the biggest role - bigger and wider spaced T64/T25 vs T05 is probably the clearest and most well known example.

Early reviewers here suggests the thick sponge (>2.5 mm) Zyre 03 shows a similar correlation, although it sounds like people are struggling with the upgrade in sheer pace rather than spin sensitivity in being able to control it. Hopefully someone can comment directly on this.

I just received well worn sheets of DNA Hybrid H to try, and see what a more recent ESN gen rubber can offer @S2000 🙂

Hey guys don't confuse rubbers less spinny with no sensitive to incoming spin!
I think that’s what makes Fastarc G1 feel slightly more reactive to me compared to its similar ESN generation like Vega Asia, Rakza 7/9 and Goldarc 8.

The higher spin ceiling of Fastarc comes with a bit more spin sensitivity as the trade off.

G1 is a good trade between higher end performance and not being spin sensitive. Only strange thing about the G1 is the lack of grip on slow balls, which makes in not react to spin but the ball can slip. Strange test of the G1 is drag a ball across it quickly and it grips, drag a ball across it slowly and the ball slips.
