Nittaku Factive rubber for backhand. I already have a decent collection of good backhand rubbers lying around, Vega X, Rozena, Vega Korea, Glayzer, Moon 12 Blue, but when I fell in love with the feel of Nittaku Fastarc G-1 on forehand, I desperately wanted to try it's slower little brother, the Nittaku Factive. It was an EJ spur, but now I'm using it on my main blade because I like it so much. Controlled and linear is my game.

Nice blade! Not sure about the national version. i have to sheets of national and i cant tell the difference from prov. Probably the player/star version is a lot better? What do you use around the handle? Is it normal griptape and wich brand is it?

It depends on the stock. If the number 3 is red on the package, that's a new stock. The new stock is almost not sticky.

I wasted so much money on the new stock.

Table tennis grip tape is very expensive—don't buy it. I just buy the Prince brand grip tape for tennis rackets. Much cheaper.

The setup is quite head-heavy, so the grip tape really helps.

I disagree with about based on my experience with H3. I mostly bought H3 Prov/Nat/Star version from Prott and sometime ago using sugargoo agent from Gan shop on Taobao. We all know about the quality issue from DHS, if higher version then quality and repeatability is better. In terms of the new versions I found the Prov version has the best and longest tackiness (maybe in my case and sheets). The star version was always the lightest which in terms of weight had for me really important aspect (as we know that with boosted H3 and couple layers of glue and booster the overall weight significantly increase). Tack went away after 2-3 weeks of play, it couldn't keep the non-sticky cover where the grip still was great in contrary Prov version still had quite good tack after cleaning event after 2 months of play. Of course I'm not saying that we can't find Prov with quality of Nat or Star version but it is 1 out of 10 where the star version is almost the same.
This is my story with H3 I noticed ;)

I look forward to seeing videos of balls shooting off 1-ply bats!
My friend Tyce, I no longer use one ply. Using butterfly sk seven now.

So not really an EJ purchase YET but I forgot my table tennis bag today when going to the club (LOL very silly but I was rushing and also very excited at the same time and trying to get our son ready as well) and I had a dude borrow me his paddle with H3 (blue sponge, I believe its regular and it was unboosted) and good lord I have never served so well in my life. And this was a worn out H3 too. I could serve short whenever I wanted and I used the blade / rubber for like 10 mins before that. And also my 3rd ball attack was pretty great (although I did end up doing “FH all table” a bit too much and I lost some points on that). I really hope I don’t fall into the trap of researching H3 rubbers and buying my own because I feel like that’s a world of its own :)

The EJ purchase I swear is my last (that's what we EJs say everytime)

Nittaku Miyabi 1 ply Kiso Hinoki shakehand blade. My first 1 ply Hinoki wood. Always wondered how a one ply thick Hinoki blade would feel. I've always loved the feeling of softer woods that have lower, musical pitch frequencies, like limba, ayeous or anigre, regardless 5 ply, 7 ply or with carbon.

Was wondering if any users here can give me insights about this blade and how it feels like? (I only see great reviews, but I also read that it's a like it or hate it). I have plans to try linear tacky rubbers like YinHe Mercury 2 medium or DHS 8-80 on it, since some say they're good on 1 ply Hinoki blades since the wood already has inherent catapult.
