Outer ALC Blade paired with medium rubber?

Getting Andro Rasanter C45 and R45 for Christmas and was wondering how it would play with the Butterfly Freitas ALC blade. Anyone got any experience with these rubbers or any idea how it would play. I'm very indecisive when putting new rubbers on a blade, because part of me wants to play with a fast and fun setup, but another part of me understands at some point i need to actually continue developing, so slapping these rubbers on a ma lin extra offensive for example would be better in the long run lol (yes i have multiple blades). But the temptation is killing me. Help pls 😭

I play dignics 09c on the Freitas on forehand and glayzer 09c or friendship battle 2 39 degrees on backhand. Freitas is a good blade, you can also try glayzer or g1 on the forehand.

Getting Andro Rasanter C45 and R45
Both are excellent rubbers and the Freitas is a good blade.
The combination works well as such.

But the problem is, any rubber works on any blade, but not for anyone.
So if I say it´s a controlled combination and someone else with different preferences tells you it´s way too fast or yet another someone says the rubbers are too soft - in the end you´ll have to try.

And if you´re tempted to do so, don´t let anything stop you. You can always put the rubbers on your Yasaka anyway if they don´t feel right on the Freitas for you.

Have fun :)

Speed is subjective. There are players who find MX-P on Primorac Carbon too slow and those who think yasaka sweden classic with rakza 7 soft is a speed demon. What is the fastest combination you tried and what you didn't like about it?
In the times when I believed in every review and TT product descriptions, I played with Xiom Stradivarius and Omega IV Tour on both sides. It was unforgivable and too fast for me. I pushed myself and tried to adapt my mixed style to the combination, but in the end I was unable to find satisfaction. Playing with fast tensors on both sides brings too many limitations and just does not match my style.

Recently, I tried Mantra Pro XH on FH with Stuor CNF and I had the fastest contras. Like lasers, and most of them without return. Unfortunately, FH chops were only possible far away from the table. Service receive was too high and easy to attack. Fast combinations are just more demanding, with less control, and the need of constant attack to win a point.

I tried strad too with MX-P hard on BH and MX-D on forehand. With the edge tape on it was okay, but once I removed it, the speed was too much. Is omega IV tour a springy tensor like T05 / MX-P ?

Fastest setup ive played and loved was the Andro Treiber FO/OFFS Blade with Andro Rasanter R48 rubbers on both sides. The control, speed, spin, and high throw was amazing. The only thing i didnt really like was the speed was a little too much and i had no feed back through the handle since its pretty sitff and hard.

It was Omega V Tour, memory error. Similar speed as T05, but not so bouncy. I never played with MX-P

Wow that's fast. I tried R48 on Stiga Cybershape AR classic and it felt very bouncy like MX-P. I had to tilt my racket uncomfortably forward to play accurately close to the table.

Yea the Treiber setup was really good for close to the table smashes and surprisingly good mid to far looping as well. just a little to fast for what i could handle, probably would have been great with the C45/R45 or R42. and yeah, definitely had some bounce to it that i really couldn't control some times either. Nonetheless a great blade for its price.

Decided yesterday to put the C45/R45 on my Freitas, and played with the setup today. Im glad i put them on the Freitas. I get lots of control for it being an outer alc blade. Good spin and great balance ratio of speed:control. It gets up and goes when i need it too, and slow and controlled when i need to play short or to slow down the game when needed. Definitely sticking with this setup for a while.
